Verpleegkundig specialist AGZ - Complexe klachten bij cliënten met een visuele én verstandelijke beperking vragen om breed klinisch redeneren van jou als verpleegkundig specialist. Verpleegkundig specialist AGZ Jouw nieuwe baan Diagnostiek, behandeling en medische regie lopen bij deze cliënten sterk in elkaar over. Als verpleegkundig specialist ben je regiebehandelaar voor voornamelijk oudere cliënten met een visuele en verstandelijke beperking. Vaak spelen daarnaast somatische, psychische of syndromale problemen. Klachten en symptomen presenteren zich daardoor niet altijd op een gebruikelijke manier. Je verricht medisch onderzoek, stelt diagnoses en bepaalt samen met andere disciplines de behandeling. Je stelt behandelplannen op, coördineert het behandelproces en evalueert de voortgang. Waar nodig verwijs je naar huisartsen, medisch specialisten, paramedici of gedragsdeskundigen. Ook bespreek je diagnoses, behandelingen en zorgdoelen met cliënten en hun naasten. Naast de directe cliëntenzorg adviseer en instrueer je verpleegkundigen en begeleiders. Je signaleert verbeterpunten in de zorg, deelt kennis via scholing of klinische lessen en neemt deel aan vakgroepen en werkgroepen. Jouw nieuwe werkplek Binnen wonen en dagbesteding krijgen cliënten ondersteuning die aansluit bij hun mogelijkheden en behoeften. De zorg vindt plaats in een kleinschalige setting. Je werkt hier als verpleegkundig specialist binnen een multidisciplinair behandelteam met onder meer artsen, gedragsdeskundigen, paramedici, verpleegkundigen en begeleiders. Voor medische vraagstukken is er wekelijks overleg met onder andere AVG-artsen en huisartsen. Daarnaast werk je samen met een collega in dezelfde functie op een andere locatie. Vanuit jouw medische verantwoordelijkheid verbind je de verschillende bevindingen en adviezen tot een uitvoerbaar behandelplan.
