Je houdt je bezig met zowel behandeling als preventie en hebt aandacht voor lichamelijke én psychische klachten. De zorg kan complex zijn. Lichamelijke problemen kunnen bijvoorbeeld samengaan met psychische klachten, complex gedrag of een beperkte mogelijkheid om klachten zelf onder woorden te brengen. Juist daardoor is een brede blik belangrijk. Je werkzaamheden bestaan onder andere uit: - zelfstandig onderzoeken, diagnosticeren en behandelen; - begeleiden van cliënten bij chronische aandoeningen en gezondheidsproblemen; - signaleren en voorkomen van gezondheidsproblemen; - voorschrijven van medicatie binnen je bevoegdheden; - bijdragen aan preventie en gezondheidsbevordering; - overleggen met cliënten, naasten en begeleiders; - samenwerken met VG-artsen, huisartsen, basisartsen, praktijkverpleegkundigen, gedragskundigen en andere zorgprofessionals. Je werkt vanuit een multidisciplinair behandelteam waarin verschillende deskundigheden samenkomen. Daardoor krijg je te maken met uiteenlopende medische en verpleegkundige vraagstukken. Heb je nog geen ervaring binnen de gehandicaptenzorg? Ook dan kun je instromen. Je wordt ingewerkt en kunt rekenen op begeleiding van ervaren collega's.
