Hier krijg je de ruimte om cliënten écht te leren kennen en passende medische keuzes te maken. Jouw nieuwe baan Als verpleegkundig specialist agz lever je medische zorg aan mensen met een verstandelijke beperking, vaak in combinatie met lichamelijke of complexe gezondheidsproblemen. Je begeleidt cliënten van verschillende leeftijden en krijgt te maken met uiteenlopende zorgvragen. Vooral de combinatie van complexe casuïstiek en ouder wordende cliënten zorgt voor veel inhoudelijke uitdaging. Zelfstandig voer je spreekuren en visites uit en bied je zorg bij acute, chronische en preventieve gezondheidsvragen. Je kijkt verder dan de medische klacht en hebt aandacht voor het functioneren, de leefomgeving en de kwaliteit van leven van de cliënt. Veranderingen in de gezondheid herken je tijdig, waarna je doelgericht passende acties inzet. Nauwe samenwerking met begeleiders, naasten en andere behandelaren vormt een belangrijk onderdeel van je werk. Binnen multidisciplinaire overleggen lever je een actieve bijdrage aan het behandelbeleid. Bij complexe vraagstukken stem je af met artsen, psychologen en andere specialisten om de best mogelijke zorg te realiseren. Daarbij bewaak je de kwaliteit, zorg je voor continuïteit en houd je het overzicht over het behandelproces. Naast een afwisselende functie krijg je volop ruimte om jezelf verder te ontwikkelen. Eigen initiatief wordt gewaardeerd en goede ideeën krijgen de kans om uit te groeien tot verbeteringen in de zorg van morgen.
