Verpleegkundig specialist WLZ - Meer invloed op behandelbeleid, vaste werktijden en uitdagende ouderenzorg. Dat vind je als verpleegkundig specialist WLZ in deze veelzijdige functie. Jouw nieuwe baan Complexe ouderenzorg vraagt om medische scherpte én verpleegkundige diepgang. Als verpleegkundig specialist WLZ voer je zelfstandig de regie over cliënten met meervoudige en complexe zorgvragen. Tijdens jouw werk verzamel je medische en verpleegkundige informatie, verricht je lichamelijk onderzoek en stel je diagnoses. Behandelingen voer je uit binnen jouw deskundigheidsgebied. Daarbij kijk je verder dan het ziektebeeld en houd je steeds oog voor kwaliteit van leven. Binnen multidisciplinaire overleggen neem je de regie. Je stemt zorgvuldig af met artsen, behandelaren en zorgteams. Hoog-complexe casuïstiek bespreek je samen met collega-behandelaren en specialisten. Naast cliëntenzorg draag je bij aan betere behandelprocessen. Je start kwaliteitsprojecten, denkt mee over zorgbeleid en deelt actief jouw kennis. Ook begeleid je verpleegkundig specialisten in opleiding. Tijdens centrale dagwaarneming handel je spoedvragen af bij afwezigheid van de eigen arts of verpleegkundig specialist. Bereikbaarheidsdiensten maken nu geen deel uit van de functie. Regionaal wordt onderzocht of verpleegkundig specialisten later deelnemen aan de voorwacht. Naar verwachting blijft de dienstfrequentie laag. Jouw nieuwe werkplek Samen beslissen, kennis delen en elkaar opzoeken bij complexe vragen horen hier bij de werkdag. Je werkt binnen de medische dienst en maakt deel uit van multidisciplinaire teams rond cliënten in de langdurige zorg. De zorgvragen lopen uiteen. Denk aan somatische en psychogeriatrische zorg, palliatieve zorg, gerontopsychiatrische zorg en eerstelijnszorg. Daardoor blijft je werk inhoudelijk breed, zonder dat je rooster onvoorspelbaar wordt.
