Stichting Land van Horne biedt verschillende opleidingen aan waaronder de opleiding Verpleegkundige (niveau 6) via de Beroeps Begeleidende Leerweg (BBL). Als verpleegkundige geef je zorg aan mensen die voor korte of langere tijd niet voor zichzelf kunnen zorgen. Dit kan bij mensen thuis of in een zorginstelling. Dit doe je aan de hand van de daarvoor geldende protocollen. Ook ben je mede verantwoordelijk voor het opstellen van zorgplannen. De werkzaamheden bestaan uit: het observeren van cliënten, het verrichten van verpleegtechnische handelingen, je verstrekt medicijnen en ziet toe op het juiste gebruik ervan, je assisteert behandelaars en je begeleidt, stimuleert en motiveert cliënten bij activiteiten. Je ziet toe op de kwaliteit van zorg, verricht administratieve taken waaronder rapportage en begeleidt en informeert cliënten, familie en relaties van cliënten. Ook begeleid je collega's. Het is een afwisselende baan, want werken met mensen maakt elke dag anders. Hoe ziet mijn leertraject eruit? BBL staat voor Beroeps Begeleidende Leerweg. Een leertraject van werken én leren. De volledige opleiding duurt in totaal 2,5 jaar. Tijdens de opleiding werk je minimaal 28 uur per week en ga je 1 dag per week naar school. Daarnaast bedraagt de studiebelasting circa 15 uur per week. Tijdens de opleiding ga je minimaal op 2 verschillende werkplekken leren. Ook ga je 1 of 2 periodes buiten Land van Horne ervaring opdoen.
