HMC Westeinde | Den Haag Den Haag Fulltime, Parttime 24 - 36 uur Hbo, Mbo 07-10-2026 Zorg / Welzijn Functie Ben jij een verpleegkundige die energie krijgt van acute zorg, klinisch redeneren en afwisseling? Dan is de Acute Opname Afdeling van HMC Westeinde dé plek om jouw expertise verder te ontwikkelen. Wat ga je doen? De Acute Opname Afdeling (AOA) heeft op dit moment in totaal 36 bedden voor patiënten die doorverwezen zijn vanuit de Spoedeisende Hulp in HMC Westeinde. Patiënten ontvangen hier direct de acute specialistische zorg die nodig is. Er is voor gekozen om de acute bedden vanuit verschillende specialismen (Interne geneeskunde, Longgeneeskunde en Chirurgie) in HMC Westeinde te lokaliseren op één afdeling en zo nog betere kwaliteit van zorg te bieden. Als verpleegkundige op de AOA ben je verantwoordelijk voor de zorg in de acute fase van de opname. Dit omvat onder andere het uitvoeren van diverse verpleegkundige handelingen, zoals het maken van een ECG, venapunctie en het monitoren van de vitale functies van de patiënten. Je werkt intensief en laagdrempelig samen met artsen en specialisten en onderhoudt een goede samenwerking met collega's van de SEH en IC, waarbij jullie elkaars expertise optimaal benutten. Jouw ervaring in klinisch redeneren, het bepalen van de zorgbehoefte van de patiënt en het onderbouwen van je keuzes, is van groot belang, vooral in deze dynamische en acute setting. De afdeling heeft jou veel te bieden! En dan hebben we het niet alleen over een gezellige sfeer en veilige leeromgeving, maar dan hebben we het ook over jouw toekomst en je carrièremogelijkheden. Werken op de AOA biedt je de mogelijkheid om het AOA-scholingsprogramma van 7 tot 9 maanden te volgen. Onderdeel hiervan is onder andere de BAZ-opleiding (Basis Acute Zorg).
