Locatie Arnhem Stichting DrieGasthuizenGroep Wat jouw werk als Verpleegkundige in de nacht zo bijzonder maakt Als Verpleegkundige in de nacht ben je van alle markten thuis. De ene keer help je een bewoner met somatische klachten die pijn ervaart, de andere keer bied je een luisterend oor aan iemand met dementie die onrustig wakker wordt. En soms word je gevraagd om in te springen bij de bewoners van het RIBW binnen ons huis; dan gaat het ineens om psychiatrische problematiek waarbij jouw klinische blik en kalme houding het verschil maken. Geen nacht is hetzelfde. Je bent in de nacht degene op wie bewoners én collega's kunnen bouwen. Verder kan je ook ingezet worden op andere diensten wat betekent dat jij: - Zorg verleent met oog voor detail: van het uitdelen van medicatie tot verpleegtechnische handelingen. - Assisteert bij ADL-zorg. - Signaleert en handelt bij onbegrepen gedrag: je merkt wanneer iemand verward of angstig is en weet de juiste aanpak te kiezen, of het nu om een bewoner met dementie gaat of om een RIBW-cliënt met een psychiatrische achtergrond. - Complexe zorgvragen begeleidt: zoals het ondersteunen van een bewoner die niet kan slapen door pijn of emoties. Jij bent er met medische kennis, maar ook met een geruststellende aanwezigheid. - Samenwerken en overlegt: je houdt contact met bewoners; met oog voor behoud van eigen regie en gericht op het welzijn. Collega's, familieleden en het multidisciplinaire team, zodat bewoners de zorg krijgen die ze nodig hebben. - Alles zorgvuldig vastlegt: want jouw verslaglegging in de dossiers is de basis voor goede overdracht. Wat dit werk uniek maakt - Je komt in aanraking met álle facetten van het vak: somatiek, PG én psychiatrie.
