Als AOA verpleegkundige heb jij onderstaande verantwoordelijkheden: - Je verleent specialistische verpleegkundige zorg aan patiënten op de Acute Opname Afdeling (AOA) die met spoed via de Spoedeisende Hulp (SEH) binnenkomen en nog niet naar huis mogen; - Je geeft voorlichting en begeleiding aan patiënten en hun naasten. Je informeert hen over de diagnose, de behandeling en het verdere traject; - Jij beoordeelt binnen 24 uur over het vervolgtraject van de patiënt: je bepaalt in overleg met de arts of deze naar huis kan, doorstroomt naar een reguliere verpleegafdeling of wordt overgeplaatst naar een gespecialiseerde afdeling; - Je coördineert onderzoeken en korte behandelingen, interpreteert laboratoriumuitslagen en stelt verpleegkundige diagnoses op. Hierbij voer je veel verpleegtechnische handelingen uit, zoals bloedafname en infusie. Op termijn breid je jouw expertise uit met Optiflow zuurstoftherapie; - Je bewaakt vitale functies en observeert de gezondheidstoestand van de patiënt nauwkeurig. En wist je dat je bij ons nooit alleen staat? Bij de AOA heb je altijd een collega verpleegkundige om op terug te vallen. Als ambitieuze AOA verpleegkundige kun je doorgroeien tot praktijkopleider of VECO. Zo kan jij bij ons blijven groeien en uitblinken. Hier vertellen we jou graag meer over in een gesprek. Ook de samenwerking met de SEH, medisch specialisten en arts-assistenten van andere specialismen is heel prettig: Je wordt serieus genomen, kunt goed sparren en krijgt de ruimte om zelf klinisch te redeneren en acties uit te zetten.
