Met professionele palliatieve zorg draag je er aan bij dat de laatste levensfase van de cliënt zo comfortabel en waardig mogelijk verloopt. Samen met de vrijwilligers en coördinatoren van het VPTZ en je team van verpleegkundigen vervul je de wensen van de gasten op een deskundige en respectvolle wijze. Daarbij richt je je niet alleen op behandeling van pijn en andere symptomen, maar ook op sociale of psychische problemen en op zingevingvragen van de gasten en naasten. Samen met je team bewerkstellig je de hoogst mogelijke kwaliteit van leven voor de gasten en de naasten. Onder regie van de gasten zoek je samen met je team, andere professionals, naasten, mantelzorgers en vrijwilligers naar de best passende oplossing. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor een juiste en volledige uitvoering van de verpleegkundige taken. De huisarts is verantwoordelijk voor de geneeskundige zorg en ondersteuning. Naast je werkzaamheden in het hospice draai je ook avonddiensten in de verpleegkundige route. Dit betekent dat je af en toe wordt ingezet voor de overstijgende verpleegkundige route van Zorg Thuis in gebied Heerenveen. Het gaat dus om een combinatiefunctie. Waar ga je werken?
