Ben jij een ervaren verpleegkundige met een hart voor oudere patiënten en acute zorg? Werk je graag in een omgeving waar klinische complexiteit en mensgerichte zorg hand in hand gaan? Dan is deze functie binnen acute geriatrie precies wat je zoekt.

Als verpleegkundige binnen de afdeling Acute Geriatrie sta je in voor de totaalzorg van oudere patiënten met complexe en vaak meervoudige zorgnoden.

Je takenpakket omvat onder andere:

  • Verlenen van integrale verpleegkundige zorg aan geriatrische patiënten in een acute setting
  • Observeren en opvolgen van zowel fysieke, cognitieve als psychosociale evoluties
  • Vroegtijdig detecteren van risico’s zoals delier, valincidenten en ondervoeding
  • Actief samenwerken binnen een multidisciplinair team (artsen, kinesisten, ergotherapeuten, sociaal werkers, …)
  • Betrekken en begeleiden van familie en mantelzorgers
  • Mee instaan voor ontslagplanning en continuïteit van zorg
  • Je werkt in een omgeving waar klinisch redeneren, empathie en persoonsgerichte zorg centraal staan.
  • Diploma Bachelor of HBO5 Verpleegkunde
  • Minstens 2 jaar relevante werkervaring als verpleegkundige
  • Ervaring binnen een ziekenhuissetting (vereist), bij voorkeur op een afdeling met complexe zorgnoden
  • Ervaring in geriatrie is een sterke troef, maar geen must
  • Groot inlevingsvermogen en affiniteit met de oudere patiënten
  • Sterk observatievermogen en klinisch inzicht
  • Teamgericht, communicatief vaardig en stressbestendig
