Voor de afdeling VIA binnen de doelgroep Algemene Psychiatrie zijn we op zoek naar een:

VERPLEEGKUNDIGE

De afdeling VIA richt zich tot volwassenen uit de regio Vlaams-Brabant Oost met een ernstige psychiatrische kwetsbaarheid. Deze kwetsbaarheid kan heel verschillend zijn. Sommige ervaren ernstige stemmingsschommelingen, anderen zijn eerder angstig of achterdochtig. Vaak gaat het over een combinatie van kwetsbaarheden die langere tijd aanwezig zijn en al dan niet samen gaan met problematisch alcohol of druggebruik. Deze problematiek zorgt voor een ernstige beperking in het sociaal of maatschappelijk functioneren. Hierdoor kom je in een neerwaartse spiraal terecht waardoor problemen lijken toe te nemen en een opname zich aandient.

De zorgeenheid heeft 46 bedden en bestaat uit een open en gesloten unit. Er zijn vier behandelgroepen waar mensen een combinatie aangeboden krijgen van verbale en non-verbale therapie.

Bij Zorggroep Sint-Kamillus maak je als verpleegkundige elke dag een zichtbaar verschil. Je werkt in een warm, multidisciplinair team en vertrekt altijd vanuit de individuele noden van elke bewoner.

Je werkt steeds met het oog op het herstellen, behouden of verbeteren van de psychische gezondheid van de patiënt en streeft daarbij naar het maximaliseren van de zelfredzaamheid en het optimaliseren van de kwaliteit van leven.

  • Je voert de toegewezen (verpleegkundige) handelingen, opgenomen in het behandelplan, correct uit.
  • Als hulpverlener informeer en ondersteun je de patiënt/cliënt/bewoner en diens omgeving/familie.
  • Je draagt zorg voor de administratieve taken.

  • Dialogeren. In actieve interactie treden met anderen door een actief luisterende houding aan te nemen en door contact tot stand te brengen via het gebruik van aangepaste communicatie.
  • Inlevingsvermogen. Tonen dat men rekening houdt met de (al dan niet rechtstreeks) geuite gevoelens, behoeften en wensen van de anderen.
  • Concluderen. Via een doorgedreven analyse komen tot degelijk onderbouwde meningen en standpunten.
  • Plannen en organiseren. Structuur aanbrengen in tijd en ruimte en prioriteiten stellen bij het aanpakken van problemen.

Kennis en Kunde

  • Je behaalde het diploma van bachelor verpleegkunde of van Hoger Beroepsonderwijs (HBO5) en je bent houder van een visum om het beroep te mogen uitoefenen.
  • Je hebt kennis van de ziektebeelden (psychisch en somatisch), medische materialen en technische handelingen.
