Verleg grenzen binnen onze oncologische afdelingen

De zorgzone oncologie omvat een grote verscheidenheid aan hospitalisatie afdelingen.

Naast een afdeling algemene medische oncologie bevat onze zone oncologie de afdelingen hematologie, digestieve oncologie, gynaecologische oncologie en respiratoire oncologie. Er is een specifieke afdeling neus-keel-oor, mond-kaak-aangezicht en reconstructieve heelkunde. En ook de palliatieve zorgafdeling valt als hospitalisatieafdeling onder de zorgzone oncologie.

De ambulante zorg in zorgzone oncologie omvat drie dagcentra waar patiënten ambulant antitumorale therapie en ondersteunende zorg krijgen, een raadpleging oncologie waar de verschillende disciplines vertegenwoordigd zijn en een aferesecentrum.

Binnen de zone is de dienst radiotherapie internationaal bekend om zijn hoogtechnologische innovatieve behandelingen. Naast de fotonentherapie beschikt de afdeling over een interuniversitair onderzoeks- en behandelcentrum voor protontherapie. Deze moderne radiotherapie laat toe de best mogelijke zorg te geven aan oncologische patiënten.

In deze zorgzone functioneren ook een palliatief supportteam, een AYA-referentieteam, een multidisciplinaire borstequipe en verpleegkundig specialisten ter ondersteuning van de equipes op de verpleegafdelingen. Diverse projecten rond cytostatica, pijn en katheterzorg volgen de laatste ontwikkelingen op verpleegkundig klinisch en wetenschappelijk vlak.

Binnen deze cluster afdelingen zijn er momenteel vacatures op volgende afdelingen:

Functies met shiften:

Je werkt in een variabel shiftensysteem van vroege (7u - 15u21) en late (13u54 - 22u) shiften en 1 op 2 weekends. Uitzonderlijk kan je ook gevraagd worden in nachtshiften te werken.

  • Hospitalisatie 23: Digestieve oncologie
  • Hospitalisatie 27: Neus-keel-oor, mond-kaak-aangezicht en reconstructieve heelkunde
  • Hospitalisatie 44 en 20: Hematologie en isolatie hematologie
  • Mobiele equipe zone oncologie: 50-100%. Je bent inzetbaar op de verschillende oncologische afdelingen

Functies met daguren:

Je werkuren bevinden zich tussen 8u en 19u tijdens weekdagen. Er zijn geen weekendwerk of wachtdiensten voorzien.

  • Dagcentrum oncologie: dagziekenhuis 5 (algemene medische oncologie, gynaecologische oncologie en respiratoire oncologie), dagziekenhuis 6 (hematologie) en dagziekenhuis 13 (digestieve oncologie)

Tenzij expliciet vermeld bij de afdeling betreffen dit steeds voltijdse contracten van onbepaalde duur. Werk je liever deeltijds, dan is dit altijd bespreekbaar.

Hoe verleg je grenzen?

  • Samen met je team sta je in voor de totaalzorg van de patiënten: Als oncologisch verpleegkundige heb je zowel uitdagingen op intermenselijk als op verpleegtechnisch gebied: je bent verantwoordelijk voor het toedienen van anti-tumorale therapie en ondersteunende therapie zowel aan curatieve als aan palliatieve patiënten en je voert deze handelingen op een technisch correcte manier uit.
  • Je hebt oog voor de psychosociale begeleiding van de patiënt en je bent sterk betrokken bij de chronisch zieke patiënten.
  • Je staat in voor het verzorgen van de nodige patiënten-educatie in een multidisciplinair team.
  • Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de dagelijkse organisatie en verpleegkundige zorg.
  • Je functioneert als belangrijke schakel binnen een multidisciplinair team van artsen, verpleegkundigen, zorgkundigen, logistiek medewerkers en paramedici.
  • Je begeleidt nieuwe medewerkers en studenten en geeft zo kennis en deskundigheid door.
  • Je wil voortdurend bijleren en houdt je eigen kennis en deskundigheid up-to-date. Je neemt actief deel aan opleiding en bijscholing

Wat heb je daarvoor nodig?

  • Je bent bachelor verpleegkundige, gegradueerde HBO5 verpleegkundige, basisverpleegkundige of je behaalt binnenkort je diploma.
  • Een postgraduaat of banaba oncologie is een meerwaarde en geeft recht op het specialisatie complement. Of je bent bereid dit te volgen in combinatie met een tewerkstelling op één van bovenstaande diensten.
  • Patiëntgericht en oog voor kwaliteitszorg.
  • Goede probleemoplossende en organisatorische skills.
  • Zin voor initiatief en teamwork.
  • Een integere, discrete en leergierige houding.
