Wat is jouw uitdaging?

  • Je wordt als verpleegkundige ingeschakeld in de dienst cardiologie short stay - cardiolounge, die een gemengd hospitalisatie-verblijf en telemetrie eenheid omvat.
  • Je bereidt patiënten voor op hun onderzoek, verzorgt het transport van en naar de betreffende diensten en voert de nazorg uit aan de hand van standing orders en procedures.
  • Je zal je toespitsen op de acute en chronische zorgtrajecten van cardiologische patiënten.
  • Je verleent individuele, totale en planmatige zorg met oog voor de lichamelijke en psychosociale behoeften van elke patiënt.
  • Je draagt de verantwoordelijkheid voor de continuïteit van de zorgverlening. Dit gebeurt via mondelinge besprekingen en door het schriftelijk vastleggen van de verpleegactiviteiten in het verpleegdossier of de verpleegkundige transfertnota.
  • Je draagt bij aan kwaliteitszorg en denkt pro-actief mee aan verbetering van de verpleegkundige dienstverlening.
  • Daarbij verlies je de kwaliteit en verbetering van de verpleegkundige dienstverlening nooit uit het oog.
  • Je staat onder leiding van de (vervangend) hoofdverpleegkundige en behartigt diens taken indien nodig om de werking van de afdeling te waarborgen.
  • Op administratief, technisch en huishoudelijk vlak draag je eveneens jouw steentje bij, o.a. door mee te werken aan opgelegde taken door de instelling of overheid (bv. Registratie minimale verpleegkundige gegevens, begeleiden van stagiaires, profileren als referentieverpleegkundige).

Wat zijn jouw troeven?

  • Je beschikt over een diploma en visum als bachelor of HBO5 (gegradueerde) in de verpleegkunde.
  • Specialisatie en ervaring is een troef: Een eerste (stage)ervaring binnen cardio is een troef, geen must.
  • Je herkent de zorgbehoefte van de patiënt en plant, coördineert, verleent, en evalueert de zorg deskundig, flexibel en creatief.
  • Sterk in communicatie, zowel naar patiënten en hun familie als naar collega's. Je behartigt belangen en maakt zaken bespreekbaar op een assertieve en deskundige manier.
  • Teamplayer: Je gedijt in een multidisciplinair team en neemt een collegiale, eerlijke, en objectieve houding aan en kan strikt omgaan met beroepsgeheim.
  • Empathische kracht: Je staat patiënten bij met raad en daad. Je informeert hen en kan hen geruststellen door je aanwezigheid.
  • Leergierig: Je staat open voor feedback, bent bereid om continu bij te leren en wilt jezelf blijven bijscholen.
