Ben jij een gedreven en zorgzame verpleegkundige met een interesse in urologie? Wil je werken in een innovatief ziekenhuis waar patiëntenzorg centraal staat? Dan is de functie van verpleegkundige op de urologische consultatie wellicht iets voor jou!

De dienst urologie in ons ziekenhuis is een dynamische dienst met een zeer aangename werksfeer, bestaande uit 8 artsen en 11 personeelsleden waaronder dokters-assistenten, verpleegkundigen, en medisch secretaresses.

Zowat alle deelaspecten van de discipline worden hier bedreven wat een bijzonder gevarieerd takenpakket met zich meebrengt.

Als verpleegkundige binnen de consultatie urologie ben je verantwoordelijk voor het leveren van zorg en ondersteuning aan patiënten die voor consultaties en onderzoeken komen. Je zorgt voor een vlotte werking van de consultatie en ondersteunt artsen zowel technisch als zorginhoudelijk.

Wat zijn jouw taken?

- Het ondersteunen bij consultaties op beide campussen - Het uitvoeren van verpleegtechnische handelingen - Je assisteert bij endoscopieën, nemen van biopten, … - Het onthaal van de patiënten - Het informeren en begeleiden van de patiënten tijdens de consultatie en onderzoeken - Het organiseren van de afspraken (bv. voor vervolgdienst, operatie, onderzoek, …) en het uitvoeren van algemene administratieve taken - Het zelfstandig uitvoeren van een urodynamisch onderzoek (opleiding wordt voorzien indien nodig)

- Je bent in het bezit van een bachelor of graduaat verpleegkunde - Ervaring is een sterke plus maar niet noodzakelijk - Je bent zeer flexibel (bv. op vlak van werkuren) , dynamisch, leergierig, punctueel en collegiaal - Je toont een proactieve en verantwoordelijke houding - Je hebt interesse in de meer technische kant van de job als verpleegkundige - Patiëntgerichtheid draag je hoog in het vaandel: je bent discreet, heel vriendelijk en hebt een luisterend en empathisch vermogen in patiëntencontact - Je houdt ervan om in team te werken maar kan evengoed zelfstandig aan de slag - Je beschikt over een grote portie stressbestendigheid waardoor je in staat bent om snel te anticiperen op veranderende omstandigheden en je planning kan aanpassen - Je bent een polyvalente medewerker die steeds uiterst zorgvuldig te werk gaat
