The posting

In deze functie word je ingezet op 2 verschillende afdelingen:

In de polikliniek pneumologie komen patiënten naar een consultatie bij één van de longartsen. Het team legt zich toe op het onderzoek, diagnose en behandeling van diverse longziekten zoals bijvoorbeeld astma, COPD, (inhalatie)allergieën, infecties van de luchtwegen, interstitiële longafwijkingen, klaplong, longembool, longkanker, chronische hoest, kortademigheid, pijn ter hoogte van de borstkas en problemen ten gevolge van Covid-19.

In het slaapcentrum worden patiënten onderzocht en behandeld in het kader van slaapgerelateerde aandoeningen. Patiënten worden begeleid in het diagnostisch en therapeutisch traject van slaapstoornissen in samenwerking met het team van artsen, logistiek assistenten en zorgkundigen.

Concreet krijg je volgende taken en verantwoordelijkheden:

- Je staat in voor het verlenen van en assisteren bij de diverse medische onderzoeken. - Je staat in voor het uitlezen van een aantal onderzoeksresultaten. - Je vindt patiënt- en familiegeoriënteerde zorg belangrijk, patiëntveiligheid is prioritair voor jou. - Je hebt een specifieke interesse in het domein van het CPAP, behandeling van slaapstoornissen en zuurstoftherapie binnen het domein van de longziekten. - Je bent bereid je bij te scholen in deze domeinen en de nodige kennis te verwerven. - Ervaring of opleiding in het kader van slaaponderzoek en/of CPAP is geen must, maar is zeker een pluspunt. - Je staat in voor een goede organisatie van het consultatiemoment waarbij efficiëntie en patiëntgerichtheid voorop staan. - Je hebt de skills om patiënten te informeren, op te leiden en te motiveren ifv therapietrouw. - Algemene en administratieve taken verbonden aan de dienst worden door jou uitgevoerd. - Je werkt in overleg met o.a. de betrokken arts.

- Je bent bachelor of gegradueerd verpleegkundige. - Je hebt bij voorkeur kennis van en/of ervaring met het omgaan met patiënten met pneumologische aandoeningen. - Je bent vlot in verpleegkundig-technische handelingen. - Je kan zelfstandig werken en bent stressbestendig. - Je hebt aandacht voor de belevingswereld van de patiënt. - Je bent PC-vaardig. - Je bent flexibel.
