The posting

De dienst Dialyse is actief op beide campussen van AZ Turnhout en beschikt momenteel over drie centra voor low-care dialyse gelegen in Hoogstraten en de samenwerkende ziekenhuizen van Mol en Geel. Op deze verschillende locaties werken 55 verpleegkundigen in team samen om ongeveer 195 chronische dialysepatiënten te behandelen (hemodialyse & peritoneaal dialyse). Daarnaast behandelen we op campus Sint-Elisabeth ook acute patiënten. We voeren er plasmafereses en nierbiopsies uit en dialyseren er op Intensieve Zorgen.

Als dialyseverpleegkundige kom je terecht in een hoog-technische omgeving waarbij we voornamelijk zorg verlenen aan chronische nefrologische patiënten die je meerdere keren per week ontmoet. Dat maakt dat we vaak een nauwe band hebben met de patiënten, wat aanvoelt als één grote familie.

In AZ Turnhout bieden we je de mogelijkheden van een grote organisatie, gecombineerd met het persoonlijk karakter van een klein ziekenhuis. Door onze grootte kunnen we inzetten op verschillende specialisaties en voortdurend investeren in nieuwe technologieën en innovaties. Zo bieden we onze medewerkers talloze leerkansen en doorgroeimogelijkheden. Maar wat ons echt onderscheidt is onze warme, gemoedelijke sfeer. We vinden het belangrijk dat niet enkel patiënten maar ook medewerkers zich Gast voelen in ons Huis.

Komende jaren beginnen we te bouwen aan ons ‘Gasthuis in het groen’: een gloednieuw ziekenhuis op campus Sint-Jozef waar we alle diensten van de huidige twee campussen samenbrengen.

Functie

  • Je gaat aan de slag binnen het FIT (flexibel inzetbaar team). Vanuit dit team word je langdurig op een afdeling ingezet. Op dit moment zijn we specifiek op zoek naar een verpleegkundige die op de dienst Dialyse zal starten.
  • Je werkt 75%, 80%, 90% of voltijds (bespreekbaar).
  • We beschikken over twee clusters waarin je kan tewerkgesteld worden: Je bent in deze cluster bereid tot het deelnemen aan een wachtdienst.
  • Cluster CAD Mol, CAD Geel en campus Sint-Jozef AZ Turnhout
  • Cluster CAD Hoogstraten, campus Sint-Jozef & campus Sint-Elisabeth AZ Turnhout
  • Je werkt in dagdiensten (van 06u30 tot 15u00 of van 10u30 tot 19u00).
  • Je werkt 1 op 2 zaterdagen.

Profiel

  • Je bezit een bachelorsdiploma in de verpleegkunde of vroedkunde (bachelor vroedkunde enkel indien behaald voor 01/10/2018).
  • Ervaring met dialyse is geen vereiste, maar een pluspunt.
  • Je krijgt energie van chronische patiëntencontacten.
  • Je bent patiëntgericht, discreet en vriendelijk.
  • Je hebt een hands-on mentaliteit.
  • Je hebt een goed technisch inzicht en kan aarden in een hoog-technische omgeving.
  • Je bent stressbestendig, flexibel en kan acute situaties ondervangen.
  • Je streeft naar voortdurende verbetering en staat open voor verandering.
  • Je kan goed overweg met recente informatica-technische toepassingen.
  • Je bent bereid de nodige vormingen te volgen (vb. Orpadt posthogeschoolvorming).
