Als Abdominale en Neurochirurgische Verpleegkundige sta je in voor de zorg van patiënten die een chirurgische ingreep aan het abdomen of het zenuwstelsel ondergaan hebben. Je begeleidt hen voor, tijdens en na hun hersteltraject en speelt een belangrijke rol in het observeren, opvolgen en ondersteunen van complexe zorgsituaties.

Je werkt nauw samen met artsen, chirurgen, kinesitherapeuten en andere zorgprofessionals om patiënten de best mogelijke zorg te bieden. Dankzij jouw klinisch inzicht en patiëntgerichte aanpak draag je bij aan een veilig en kwalitatief herstelproces.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden

  • Verlenen van gespecialiseerde verpleegkundige zorg aan abdominale en neurochirurgische patiënten.
  • Opvolgen van de postoperatieve toestand en tijdig signaleren van veranderingen.
  • Uitvoeren van verpleegtechnische handelingen volgens de geldende procedures.
  • Observeren van neurologische parameters en algemene gezondheidstoestand.
  • Begeleiden van patiënten tijdens hun opname- en hersteltraject.
  • Toedienen en opvolgen van medicatie en behandelingen.
  • Correct rapporteren en registreren binnen het verpleegkundig dossier.
  • Samenwerken met artsen, chirurgen en andere disciplines binnen het multidisciplinair team.
  • Informeren en ondersteunen van patiënten en hun familie.
  • Mee instaan voor een veilige, kwaliteitsvolle en patiëntgerichte zorgverlening.

Jij bent een gedreven verpleegkundige die graag werkt binnen een gespecialiseerde ziekenhuisomgeving en energie haalt uit uitdagende zorgsituaties.

Wat breng jij mee?

  • Een diploma Verpleegkunde (HBO5 of Bachelor).
  • Een geldig visum als verpleegkundige.
  • Interesse in abdominale chirurgie en/of neurochirurgie.
  • Klinisch inzicht en een sterk observatievermogen.
  • Verantwoordelijkheidszin en oog voor kwaliteit.
  • Een patiëntgerichte en empathische houding.
  • Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden.
  • Teamspirit en een vlotte samenwerking met verschillende disciplines.
  • De motivatie om jezelf voortdurend verder te ontwikkelen binnen gespecialiseerde zorg.
  • Flexibiliteit en stressbestendigheid binnen een dynamische ziekenhuisomgeving.
