Elke dag hebben mensen bloed nodig: na een operatie, een bevalling, een verkeersongeval... Daarom zamelt Rode Kruis-Vlaanderen jaarlijks ruim 400.000 bloed- en plasmagiften in.

Om onze teams te versterken, zijn we op zoek naar verpleegkundigen. Een job voor wie van afwisseling houdt en graag in team werkt.

Functiebeschrijving

  • Je wordt ingeschakeld in het Donorcentrum van Brugge;
  • Je staat samen met je collega's in voor het voorbereiden en/of afsluiten van de zaal;
  • Je begeleidt de donoren op een vlotte manier doorheen het donatieproces (inclusief opstart en opvolging van de donaties van bloed, plasma en plaatjes) en zorgt dat ze de nodige informatie krijgen;
  • Je registreert de donoren;
  • Je kleeft de etiketten op de nodige afnamesets;
  • Je verwijdert de naald nadat de bloedafname is afgerond;
  • Je legt het drukverband aan;
  • Je volgt strikte procedures gericht op kwaliteit en veiligheid;
  • Je bent ambassadeur van het Rode Kruis-Vlaanderen;
  • Je geeft donoren informatie omtrent hun donatie en je moedigt hen aan om een nieuwe afspraak te maken en/of eventueel voor een ander bloedproduct.
  • Je beschikt over een diploma verpleegkunde bachelor of HBO5;
  • Je bent een dynamisch iemand met verantwoordelijkheidszin. Je ziet werk en staat je collega's bij waar nodig;
  • Je werkt precies en volgt nauwgezet de procedures en veiligheidsnormen van Rode Kruis-Vlaanderen. Ervaring met het werken binnen een kwaliteitssysteem is een plus;
  • Je bent sociaal ingesteld en je past je gemakkelijk aan de steeds wisselende afnameteams aan;
  • Je bent donorgericht en beschikt over goede communicatieve vaardigheden;
  • Je bent digitaal vaardig zodat je snel ingewerkt bent in nieuwe (bedrijfs)applicaties. Kennis van MS Office is een pluspunt;
  • Je bent bereid om te werken in een variabel uurrooster. Dit houdt ook avondwerk en zaterdagwerk in.
  • Je hebt bij voorkeur een rijbewijs B en een eigen wagen
