Wil jij als verpleegkundige écht het verschil maken in het herstel van jongeren en jongvolwassenen? Op onze afdeling eetherstel werk je in een hooggespecialiseerde setting, waar je medische, psychologische en voedingszorg samenbrengt. Je komt terecht in een betrokken team dat elke dag inzet op herstel, hoop en perspectief.

Jobomschrijving

De afdeling eetherstel van de Alexianen Zorggroep Tienen is gespecialiseerd in de behandeling van patiënten met een eetproblematiek en gerelateerde problemen. Als erkend referentiecentrum beschikken we over 35 van de 85 eetstoornis-bedden in Vlaanderen.

Als verpleegkundige op de afdeling eetherstel neem je een centrale rol op in het behandeltraject van de patiënt. Je werkt op het kruispunt van verschillende disciplines en zorgt mee voor kwaliteitsvolle en continue zorg.

  • Behandelopvolging en continuïteit: je staat in voor de nauwe opvolging van een specifieke (behandel)groep en waarborgt de continuïteit van zorg binnen een hooggespecialiseerde setting.
  • Somatische monitoring: je bewaakt de lichamelijke gezondheid van patiënten (o.a. vitale parameters) en signaleert tijdig somatische complicaties, in nauwe samenwerking met artsen.
  • Multidisciplinair samenwerken: je werkt intensief samen met therapeuten, artsen en diëtisten om tot een geïntegreerde behandeling te komen.
  • Herstelgerichte begeleiding: je ondersteunt patiënten in hun herstelproces, met aandacht voor hun individuele traject en noden.
  • Groepstherapie: je neemt een actieve rol op in groepstherapieën en begeleidt deze samen met therapeuten.
  • Contextgericht werken: je creëert een veilige omgeving, bouwt een vertrouwensband op en betrekt waar mogelijk familie of context in het zorgproces.

Over jou

Je combineert verpleegkundige expertise met een sterke interesse in psychiatrische zorg en het werken met een kwetsbare doelgroep.

  • Diploma en achtergrond: je beschikt over een diploma (psychiatrische) verpleegkunde en begrijpt de combinatie van psychische en lichamelijke zorg bij eetstoornissen.
  • Respectvolle communicatie: je gaat respectvol en vriendelijk om met patiënten en communiceert helder met alle betrokken partijen. Je creëert een veilige omgeving waarin patiënten zich gehoord en begrepen voelen.
  • Teamwork en zelfstandigheid: je werkt zowel zelfstandig als in teamverband en neemt initiatief in je dagelijkse werking.
  • Doelgroepgericht werken: je hebt affiniteit met jongeren en jongvolwassenen. Ongeveer 2/3 van de patiënten is tussen 15 en 25 jaar. Je kan rekening houden met hun ontwikkelingsfase.
  • Motiverende gespreksvoering: je werkt binnen een sterk motivationeel kader en gebruikt motiverende technieken om patiënten te ondersteunen in hun herstelproces (of bent bereid je hierin te verdiepen).
  • Inzicht in somatiek: je hebt oog voor de lichamelijke impact van eetstoornissen en begrijpt het belang van nauwgezette opvolging gezien de verhoogde gezondheidsrisico’s.
  • Je werkt in een 3-ploegensysteem en 1 op de 6 weekends, met veel flexibiliteit dankzij zelfroosteren. Je bent bereid om in een 3-ploegensysteem (zonder nachten) te werken en neemt 1 op de 6 weekends voor je rekening. Je doet voornamelijk dagdiensten, gelijklopend met het therapieschema. Dankzij ons zelfroosteringssysteem krijg je veel inspraak en flexibiliteit in je werktijden, wat zorgt voor een gezonde balans tussen werk en privé.
