Wat ga je doen?

Als verpleegkundige op endoscopie en functieafdeling verzorg je patiënten van de gastro-enterologische discipline en patiënten van de vakgroep cardio-pneumologie en hematologie.

Je taken bestaan uit:

  • Voorbereiden en informeren van patiënten voor endoscopische en functionele onderzoeken;
  • Het assisteren van onze artsen tijdens endoscopische onderzoeken (gastroscopie, coloscopie, …) en functieproeven (bronchoscopie, EKG-afname, echografische hartonderzoeken, …) bij zowel ambulante als gehospitaliseerde patiënten.
  • Bewaken van de patiëntveiligheid en comfort tijdens en na de onderzoeken;
  • Nazorg en observatie van patiënten na ingrepen;
  • Correcte administratie en rapportering in het digitaal patiëntendossier;
  • Onderhoud en controle van medische apparatuur na het onderzoek (aanbrengen scopen naar CSA, gebruiksklaar maken van scopen voor een volgend onderzoek);

Na het doorlopen van een opleidings- en inwerktraject word je opgenomen in de wachtdienstregeling (nachten en weekends).

  • Je bent een VVAZ-verpleegkundige of gelijkgestelde.
  • Ervaring op een endoscopie en functieafdeling of een kritische dienst, een afdeling inwendige ziekten, operatiekwartier, is een meerwaarde.
  • Een goed organisatievermogen en stressbestendigheid behoren tot jouw kwaliteiten.
  • Je beschikt over een vlot aanleervermogen voor diverse verpleegtechnische handelingen en computervaardigheden.
  • Je bent een teamplayer.
  • Je bent empathisch en stelt de patiënt steeds centraal.
  • Je werkt nauwkeurig, zelfstandig en hebt een sterk verantwoordelijkheidsgevoel.
