C8 is een heelkundige verpleegafdeling met 33 bedden, gespecialiseerd in neurochirurgie en NKO. Onze patiëntenpopulatie is gevarieerd: van korte opnames voor rug- en ooroperaties tot langdurige behandelingen zoals hersenchirurgie en implantaties. De afdeling biedt een afwisselende job met veel leermogelijkheden, verpleegkundige technieken & waarbij duidelijke patiëntenvoorlichting & kwaliteitszorg centraal staat. Na de inwerkingsperiode werk je in een gevarieerd rooster met vroege, late & nachtshiften.

WAT?

  • Contract onbepaalde duur
  • ZAS Augustinus (2610, Antwerpen),
  • 38 uur/week (100%), overig regime is bespreekbaar
  • Je bent bereid om in een gevarieerd shiftensysteem te werken, zowel overdag als ‘s nachts en in weekends. Vroege shift: 6u30 -14u30 Late shift: 14u00-22u00 Nacht: 21u30 – 7u00 Je werkt gemiddeld 2 weekends per maand

OVER DE JOB

  • Planmatige en patiëntgerichte zorg – Je verleent deskundige verpleegkundige zorg aan patiënten met neurochirurgische en NKO-problemen, met oog voor zowel lichamelijke als psychosociale behoeften.
  • Systematisch verpleegkundig handelen (SVH) – Je voert zorg planmatig uit: gegevens verzamelen, probleemstelling, verpleegkundige planning, uitvoering en evaluatie.
  • Continuïteit en kwaliteitsbewaking – Je draagt verantwoordelijkheid voor een veilige, continue zorg, rapporteert correct en verbetert de verpleegkundige dienstverlening actief.
  • Uitvoering van medische opdrachten – Vertrouwt de arts jou een verpleegkundige taak toe, dan voer je deze nauwkeurig en conform de wet uit.
  • Ondersteuning van afdeling en team – Je ondersteunt administratief, technisch en huishoudelijk, begeleidt stagiairs en draagt bij aan een efficiënt werkklimaat.
  • Flexibele diensten – Je werkt in een gevarieerd shiftensysteem, inclusief vroege, late en nachtdiensten, weekends en feestdagen.

OVER JOU

  • Gekwalificeerd verpleegkundige – Je beschikt over een bachelor- of HBO5-diploma verpleegkunde met visum van FOD Volksgezondheid.
  • Ervaring in heelkunde – Kennis van neurochirurgie, NKO of chirurgische zorg is een pluspunt.
  • Communicatief en empathisch – Je informeert en ondersteunt patiënten, familie en collega’s duidelijk en deskundig.
  • Veilig en hygiënisch werken – Je werkt nauwkeurig, ordelijk en respecteert het beroepsgeheim.
  • Assertief en professioneel – Je kan zelfstandig beslissingen nemen en functioneert adequaat binnen een multidisciplinair team.
  • Gezondheidspreventie en bijscholing – Je draagt actief bij aan preventie, voorlichting en educatie van patiënten en volgt opleidingen en bijscholingen om je kennis continu uit te breiden.
