Combineer de spanning en snelheid van de SEH met de diepgang van de IC! Je ontwikkelt brede kennis op een level 2 traumacentrum (kindergeneeskunde, trauma's, diagnostiek) en gespecialiseerde expertise op de IC, de grootste en meest complexe van de regio. Korte lijnen met artsen en veel patiëntcontact maken je werk waardevol en afwisselend. In 3 maanden ben je klaargestoomd voor beide afdelingen, met volop kansen om je verder te ontwikkelen en breder inzetbaar te zijn. In deze combifunctie werk je zowel op de Spoedeisende Hulp (SEH) als op de Intensive Care (IC): twee hoog complexe afdelingen met ieder een eigen dynamiek. Op de SEH ligt de focus op snelle diagnostiek en het stabiliseren van patiënten met uiteenlopende acute zorgvragen, van trauma's tot interne problematiek bij zowel kinderen als volwassenen. Op de IC verschuift dit naar intensieve, continue zorg voor kritisch zieke patiënten, waarbij je met geavanceerde apparatuur werkt en vitale functies bewaakt, ondersteunt of overneemt. De afwisseling tussen kortdurende, acute patiëntcontacten op de SEH en langdurige, intensieve zorgtrajecten op de IC maakt je werk veelzijdig en uitdagend. Je schakelt continu tussen snel handelen en klinisch redeneren enerzijds, en het bewaken van het totaaloverzicht en het leveren van hoog complexe zorg anderzijds. Op beide afdelingen werk je nauw samen met artsen en andere disciplines, met korte lijnen en veel ruimte voor eigen regie en klinische besluitvorming.
