PZ Sint-Lucia is op zoek naar een verpleegkundige voor de Intensieve Dienst (ID)

De Intensieve Dienst (ID) is een acute opnameafdeling binnen het psychiatrisch ziekenhuis Sint-Lucia. De afdeling bestaat uit twee opname-units: beide units bieden zorg aan volwassenen met een ernstige, acute psychiatrische zorgvraag. Bij opname wordt, afhankelijk van de inschatting van de zorgnoden, beslist op welke eenheid de patiënt wordt opgenomen. Een opname kan vrijwillig of gedwongen zijn. Wanneer de crisissituatie of het acute karakter van de problematiek vooral zorgt voor de nood aan veiligheid en bescherming, zal de patiënt opgenomen worden op de gesloten eenheid van de ID. We trachten de crisis op te vangen en tegemoet te komen aan de individuele noden van de zorgvrager. Wanneer de patiënt bij opname mee verantwoordelijkheid kan nemen rond veiligheid, is opname op de open unit mogelijk.

Voor beide units bestaat het uitgangspunt van de zorg uit het maken en behouden van contact. De healing en holding environment zijn daarbij belangrijke waarden in onze visie. Tijdens de crisisopname zetten we in op het herstellen van het verstoorde evenwicht. We betrekken daarbij het netwerk van de patiënt. Tijdens het kortdurende verblijf trachten we de nodige vervolgzorg te installeren.

Wij zijn op zoek naar verpleegkundigen met de volgende afdelingsspecifieke competenties:

  • affiniteit met patiënten met ernstige multi-psychiatrische problematiek met een acute zorgnood;
  • het vermogen om crisissituaties te hanteren en zich comfortabel te voelen binnen een onvoorspelbare werkflow, waarbij snel kunnen schakelen een meerwaarde is;
  • zelfstandig kunnen werken binnen een multidisciplinair team en in een snel veranderende context;
  • een gezonde portie nieuwsgierigheid naar de mens achter de zorgvrager;
  • het vermogen om rust en veiligheid te brengen in onvoorspelbare situaties;
  • flexibiliteit om binnen beide units te bewegen.

Functieomschrijving: als verpleegkundige

  • neem je de verantwoordelijkheid voor het bewaken van een gezond therapeutisch milieu op de afdeling,
  • vang je patiënten en familie tijdens de opname.
  • sta je specifiek in voor verpleegtechnische handelingen.
  • je registreert correct in het patiëntendossier en andere registraties die behoren tot de afdelingswerking.
  • je respecteert de bestaande procedures en voert deze correct uit.
  • Je beschikt over een diploma HBO 5 (gegradueerde verpleegkundigen of basisverpleegkundigen) of Bachelor in de verpleegkunde
  • Ervaring in de geestelijke gezondheidszorg is een pluspunt
  • Je hebt zin voor vernieuwing, verantwoordelijkheid, organisatie en multidisciplinaire teamspirit.
  • Je beschikt over goede communicatieve vaardigheden.
