Jessa biedt samen met haar 3250 medewerkers en 450 artsen op 4 locaties topklinische geneeskunde, warme, hoogkwalitatieve patiëntenzorg en een uitmuntende patiëntervaring. Ook onze grote groep artsen in opleiding, stagiairs en vrijwilligers dragen hiertoe bij. We zetten ieders competenties op een gelijkwaardige en complementaire manier in. Want alleen zo kan iedereen het beste in zichzelf naar boven halen.

Wij van Jessa staan voor zorg met aandacht voor de wensen en noden van onze patiënten en hun naasten. Meer zelfs, we gaan in gesprek en nodigen hen uit om actief deel te nemen aan hun zorgtraject. Dit geldt ook voor onze contacten met de eerste, tweede en derde lijn.

Diverse samenwerkingen binnen ons ziekenhuisnetwerk, Andreaz, maar ook met o.a. UHasselt, UZ Leuven en ZOL maken van Jessa een innovatie, dynamische en boeiende werkplek. Samen bieden we de best mogelijke zorg zo dicht mogelijk bij de patiënt.

Over de job

De intensieve therapie eenheid - gesitueerd op de campus Virga Jesse - is met meer dan 40 bedden en meer dan 100 medewerkers, een spildienst om deze patiënten op te vangen. De ITE doet opvang van patiënten met trauma, na hart-of neurochirurgie, zware abdominale ingrepen (lever, pancreas, …), ECMO… Evidence based werken, wetenschappelijk onderzoek en innovatie zijn de drivers om de dienst verder uit te bouwen.

  • Als verpleegkundige intensieve zorgen sta je in voor de adequate zorg aan de patiënt met een complexe hulpvraag.
  • Je verleent hoog technische zorgen aan de patiënten waarbij autonomie, pro-actief denken en werken, en verantwoordelijkheid opnemen centraal staan.
  • Je staat de artsen bij tijdens het uitvoeren van technische en therapeutische handelingen.
  • Je begeleidt de patiënt, familie en verwanten bij de zorgverlening. Je biedt emotionele ondersteuning wanneer nodig.
  • Je bent eveneens verantwoordelijk voor een correcte administratie en je draagt maximaal bij aan de continuïteit van de kwaliteit van de zorgverlening.
  • Je werkt hiervoor nauw samen met je collega's en de artsen.
