The posting

Inwendige 4 is een unieke afdeling binnen het ziekenhuis waar vier gespecialiseerde disciplines samenkomen: neurochirurgie, nefrologie, endocrinologie en cardiologie.

Deze 4 disciplines maken de functie uitdagend en zeer leerrijk, mede door de variatie in patiëntprofielen. Hier krijg je dus de kans om je klinische expertise te verdiepen, breed te schakelen tussen verschillende zorgtypes en het (verder) ontwikkelen van een scherpe klinische blik.

Daarnaast werk je op inwendige 4 met een sterk multidisciplinair team van zorgkundigen, ergotherapeuten in de zorg, (administratief) logistiek assistenten, … . Als verpleegkundige neem je hier een coördinerende en delegerende rol op, waarbij je vertrekt vanuit de noden van de patiënt. Je bewaakt de kwaliteit van zorg, zorgt voor heldere communicatie en stemt de taken optimaal af binnen het team.

Wat zijn jouw taken?

- Je werkt nauw samen binnen een multidisciplinair team waarbij overleg en samenwerking centraal staan - Je staat in voor de opmaak en documentatie van het verpleegkundig dossier volgens de gezondheidstoestand van de patiënt - Je voert de verschillende verpleegtechnische handelingen correct uit en hebt oog voor de noden van de patiënt - Je evalueert de toegediende zorg en stuurt bij waar nodig, je pleegt overleg met de artsen en rapporteert, zowel schriftelijk als mondeling over de patiënten - Je staat in voor correcte informatieverstrekking aan patiënt en familie, je ondersteunt de educatie van de patiënt in voorbereiding op ontslag

- Je bent verpleegkundige - Je draagt patiëntgerichtheid hoog in het vaandel - Je houdt ervan om in team te werken maar kan evengoed zelfstandig aan de slag - Je werkt zorgvuldig, patiëntgericht en bent empathisch - Je bent in staat om problemen te analyseren, inzicht te krijgen in de oorzaken hiervan en gaat systematisch op zoek naar een oplossing - Je bent in staat om snel te anticiperen of veranderende omstandigheden en past je planning aan - Tijdens jouw patiëntenzorg ga je uiterst zorgvuldig te werk
