The posting

Ons kortverblijf beschikt over 30 bedden. De chirurgische disciplines zijn in hoofdzaak orthopedie, gynaecologie, plastische chirurgie, urologie, NKO, algemene – en vaatchirurgie.

De afdeling is open van maandagochtend tot zaterdagmiddag. Je werkt met een beurtrol op de pre-opnamebalie waar patiënten vóór hun opname pre – operatief worden gescreend, in nauwe samenwerking met de dienst anesthesie.

Daarnaast werkt kortverblijf nauw samen met heelkunde 1 (orthopedie/ gynaecologie / dermatologie). Gezien onze collegiale waarden zal er dan ook af en toe ingesprongen worden op deze dienst, wanneer dit nodig is. Zo blijf je bijleren en kan je jouw technieken blijven oefenen. Win-win, toch?

Dan kan je samen met de artsen van deze medische disciplines zorgen voor een optimaal herstel van jouw patiënten. - Heb je naast sterke verpleegtechnische vaardigheden (voor post – operatieve complicaties) en het fysieke aspect ook veel oog voor het mentale en sociale welzijn van jouw patiënt? - Ben je stressbestendig en steeds gericht op kwaliteitsvolle en veilige zorg? - Ben je bereid om continu te werken aan de verdere ontwikkeling van je professionele deskundigheid?

Wat zijn jouw taken?

- Je voert een verpleegkundige anamnese uit, plant de nodige zorgen voor de patiënten, observeert en controleert de gezondheidstoestand van de toegewezen patiënten - Je voert de verschillende verpleegtechnische handelingen correct uit - Je evalueert de toegediende zorg, stuurt bij indien nodig en rapporteert, zowel schriftelijk als mondeling over de patiënten - Je verstrekt correcte informatie aan patiënt - Je staat in voor de patiënt – en afdelingsgebonden administratie

- Je bent bachelorverpleegkundige of gegradueerd verpleegkundige - Je gaat uiterst zorgvuldig te werk - Waarden zoals patiëntgericht, collegialiteit en empathie draag je hoog in het vaandel - Je bent flexibel en kan je snel aanpassen aan wisselende omstandigheden - Je kan multidisciplinair samenwerken, je bezit een sterke teamspirit, maar kan evengoed zelfstandig aan de slag - Je voelt je goed in een snel evoluerende zorgomgeving waar veel tegelijk gebeurt, en je weet met stress en werkdruk constructief om te gaan. - Je bent in staat om problemen te analyseren, inzicht te krijgen in de oorzaken hiervan en gaat systematisch op zoek naar een oplossing
