We zijn op zoek naar een Verpleegkundige / Medisch Technoloog voor de consultatie Pneumologie.

Wat houdt de functie in?

Je maakt deel uit van een multidisciplinair team van artsen, verpleegkundigen, medisch laboratoriumtechnologen en medisch managementassistenten (MMA's). Binnen deze functie sta je voornamelijk in voor de volgende taken:

  • Longfunctie-onderzoek, histamine provocatietest, huidallergietesten, NO-meting, inspanningstesten via ergospirometrie, wandeltesten.
  • Je assisteert de arts tijdens de bij het uitvoeren van diverse onderzoeken, zoals bronchoscopieën-, pleurapuncties en bij het plaatsen van thoraxdrains.
  • Je biedt ondersteuning bij de CPAP-activiteit: Je onthaalt en informeert de patiënten en eventueel familie of begeleiders over het verloop van de medisch-technische onderzoeken of behandelingen om hun medewerking te bekomen, hen gerust te stellen en de onderzoeken of behandelingen op een optimale wijze uit te voeren. Het uitvoeren van klein onderhoud van het materiaal, de apparaten en de producten en voert de kwaliteits- en radioprotectiecontroles uit teneinde de precisie van de gegevens te verbeteren en de veiligheid van de patiënten te waarborgen. Uitvoeren van diverse administratieve taken (vb. nemen van afspraken, beheer van specifieke dossiers, ingeven van de interne patiënten voor de volgende dag, ophalen van de aanvragen voor onderzoek in de verschillende diensten).
  • Je geeft uitleg aan de patiënten en hun naasten over de opvolging van de raadpleging, informeert hen en verwijst hen op vraag van de arts naar andere medisch-technische afdelingen.

Wie ben jij?

  • Je hebt een diploma verpleegkunde of medisch laboratoriumtechnoloog op zak.
  • Je hebt zin om mee aan het begin te staan van een nieuw verhaal binnen ons fusieziekenhuis, veranderingen schrikken jou dus niet af.
  • Je bent empathisch, flexibel en professioneel.
  • Je kiest bewust voor een dienst met een technische uitdaging.
