Wij zijn op zoek naar een Verpleegkundige met BBT Pediatrie/Neonatologie (of bereid deze bijzondere beroepstitel tijdens de tewerkstelling te behalen) voor onze campus Merestraat Aalst.

Wat houdt de functie in?

Als gespecialiseerd verpleegkundige bied je kwalitatieve, veilige en warme zorg aan neonaten, kinderen en hun ouders. Je combineert technische expertise met begeleiding, educatie en psychosociale ondersteuning. Je zal ingezet worden op onze afdeling pediatrie en neonatologie (50/50).

Jouw taken

Voor Neonatologie:

  • Je begeleidt en ondersteunt ouders tijdens hun verblijf en biedt hen deskundige informatie en advies.
  • Je voert verpleegkundige handelingen uit volgens de geldende procedures en richtlijnen.
  • Je observeert, bewaakt en rapporteert de gezondheidstoestand van de neonaat nauwkeurig.
  • Je registreert alle zorgactiviteiten zorgvuldig in het patiëntendossier en staat mee in voor een correcte administratieve opvolging.
  • Je werkt nauw samen met artsen, collega's en andere zorgverleners om de continuïteit en kwaliteit van zorg te waarborgen.
  • Je neemt deel aan multidisciplinair overleg en denkt actief mee over kwaliteitsverbetering en patiëntveiligheid.
  • Je begeleidt studenten en blijft jouw expertise verder ontwikkelen via opleidingen en bijscholingen.

Voor Pediatrie:

  • Je begeleidt, verzorgt en observeert kinderen van alle leeftijden
  • Je staat ouders bij met duidelijke uitleg, een luisterend oor en praktische tips
  • Je werkt nauw samen met artsen en collega’s uit verschillende disciplines
  • Je detecteert veranderingen in de gezondheidstoestand en handelt alert
  • Je neemt deel aan kindvriendelijke initiatieven op de afdeling

Goede zorg is voor jou meer dan techniek: het draait om nabijheid, vertrouwen en warmte.

Wie ben jij?

  • Je bent bachelor verpleegkunde en beschikt over een geldig visum.
  • Je beschikt over een BBT Pediatrie/Neonatologie of bent bereid deze tijdens je tewerkstelling te behalen.
  • Je werkt patiëntgericht, empathisch en hebt oog voor de noden van kinderen en hun gezin. Je bent communicatief sterk en werkt graag samen binnen een multidisciplinair team.
  • Je blijft rustig onder druk en weet adequaat te handelen in complexe situaties.
  • Je bent leergierig, kwaliteitsbewust en draagt actief bij aan een veilige zorgomgeving.
