The posting

Als verpleegkundige maak je deel uit van het medisch team van het Multifunctioneel Centrum (MFC) van Sint-Lievenspoort. Het team bestaat uit vier medewerkers, waaronder een instellingsarts en kinder- en jeugdpsychiater. De werking van het MFC omvat opvang en begeleiding voor kinderen van 1 tot 14 jaar, met een doof en slechthorendheid, STOS en/of autisme.

Als verpleegkundige zet je je mee in voor het waarborgen van de medische veiligheid, gezondheid en het algemeen welzijn van de kinderen. Samen met je collega's garandeer je de continuïteit van zorg op weekdagen tussen 8u en 17u30, zowel tijdens school- als vakantiedagen.

Je krijgt een gevarieerd takenpakket waarin zorg en aandacht voor de kinderen centraal staan. Jouw dag ziet er als volgt uit:

  • Je dient medicatie toe volgens de geldende richtlijnen.
  • Je voert verpleegtechnische handelingen zelfstandig uit.
  • Je houdt de verpleegkundige dossiers correct en up-to-date bij.
  • Je begeleidt medische consultaties.
  • Je bent op medisch vlak het eerste aanspreekpunt voor cliënten, hun context en de begeleiders.
  • Je bent ook betrokken bij de crisispermanentie.
  • Je hebt een diploma bachelor in de verpleegkunde.
  • Je wil graag werken met kinderen met communicatiestoornissen en hun gezin.
  • Je hebt kennis van de doelgroepen of bent bereid je hierin bij te scholen.
  • Je wil je graag toeleggen op zorg en preventie o.a. diabetes, tandzorg, …
  • Je bent vertrouwd met het Office 365-pakket (o.a. Outlook, Word, Excel en SharePoint). Ervaring met medische programma’s is een meerwaarde.
  • Je bent sterk in plannen en organiseren (materiaalbeheer, afstemmen werkroosters, kwaliteitsbewaking…).
  • Je werkt zelfstandig, daadkrachtig en communiceert helder.
  • Je werkt als verbindende schakel tussen verschillende teams en zet sterk in op samenwerking met alle betrokken teams en medewerkers.
