The posting

Binnen deze chirurgische verpleegafdeling met disciplines MKA en Urologie worden patiënten verzorgd na chirurgische behandeling enerzijds voor mond-hoofd-of halskanker, aangezichtsfracturen en algemene mondheelkunde. Daarnaast worden er patiënten met blaas-, prostaat-, urine- en nierproblematiek gehospitaliseerd.

Het team werkt in een sfeer van open communicatie met wederzijds vertrouwen en respect en hecht in het bijzonder veel belang aan professionaliteit en persoonlijke zorg voor elke patiënt.

Als verpleegkundige sta je onder andere in voor:

- Pre- en postoperatieve zorgen van de patiënt - Adequate medicatiebedeling - Administratieve opvolging patiëntendossier, opname en ontslag van de patiënten - Je werkt nauw samen met artsen, je coördineert de zorg met andere zorgverleners en je maakt deel uit van het mulitdisciplinair team - Na een inwerkperiode werk je als zoneverantwoordelijke waarbij je de volledige zorg van de patiënt organiseert en coördineert - Je volgt bijscholing en opleiding om jezelf verder te ontwikkelen in de desbetreffende pathologie

• Je bent verpleegkundige (bachelor of gegradueerd). • Je hebt kennis van afdelingsgebonden verpleegproblemen en basisinzicht in de onderliggende pathologie en meest voorkomende ingrepen. • Je hebt aandacht voor de belevingswereld van de patiënt en bent klantgericht. • Een goede observatiezin en klinische blik zijn onontbeerlijk. • Je kan constructief samenwerken in team maar werkt ook heel zelfstandig. • Je leert graag bij en bent stressbestendig. Je beschikt over goede communicatieve vaardigheden.
