Hoe maak jij het verschil?

Als verpleegkundige/technoloog medisch beeldvormer ben jij een onmisbare schakel binnen het zorgteam. Samen met artsen, therapeuten, zorgkundigen en andere collega’s zorg je ervoor dat elke patiënt de beste zorg krijgt — professioneel én menselijk. Geen dag is hetzelfde, en precies dat maakt jouw job zo boeiend.

Binnen de discipline van CT sta jij centraal in de zorg voor onze patiënten. Je werkt in een omgeving waar jouw expertise, alertheid en empathie elke dag het verschil maken. De combinatie van medische uitdagingen en warme, persoonlijke zorg maakt jouw rol niet alleen veelzijdig, maar ook bijzonder waardevol. Wat ga je doen:

  • De rol van de interventionele verpleegkundige/ technoloog bestaat voornamelijk uit een omloop en instrumenterende functie tijdens procedures die uitgevoerd worden door een interventionele radioloog.
  • Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het instrumentarium voor, tijdens en na de ingreep, en gaat zorgvuldig en bedachtzaam om met het materiaal.
  • Je voorziet de patiënt van de nodige informatie gedurende het verloop van de ingreep.
  • Je staat mee in voor de continue observatie van vitale parameters voor, na en tijdens de procedure en dit in nauw overleg met de radioloog.
  • Je verleent individuele, totale en planmatige zorg met oog voor de lichamelijke en psychosociale behoeften van elke patiënt.
  • Je zorgt voor een correcte patiënt administratie.
  • Je ontvangt ter plekke een gestructureerde en uitgebreide opleiding over de verschillende procedures. Voorkennis is niet nodig, wel een goede portie interesse en enthousiasme.

  • Je hebt een diploma verpleegkunde/technoloog medische beeldvorming, ervaring binnen CT is een pluspunt.
  • Je communiceert vlot in het Nederlands, de voertaal binnen UZ Brussel; een basiskennis Frans is mooi meegenomen.
  • Je bent empathisch en patiëntgericht: je ziet de mens achter de patiënt en straalt rust en vertrouwen uit.
  • Je blijft georganiseerd en stressbestendig, ook wanneer het tempo hoog ligt of situaties onverwacht veranderen.
  • Je bent leergierig en ontwikkelingsgericht: je staat te popelen om je kennis en vaardigheden te blijven ontwikkelen.
  • Je werkt graag samen in een multidisciplinair team en draagt actief bij aan een positieve, collegiale werksfeer.
