Op onze oncologische en hematologische afdelingen krijg je de kans om te werken met een brede patiëntenpopulatie, intensief samen te werken met collega's en je verder te verdiepen in je vak. Bij HMC Antoniushove in Leidschendam lever je zorg aan patiënten met oncologische en hematologische aandoeningen. Afhankelijk van de afdeling ziet dat er anders uit. Op de gecombineerde afdeling oncologie-hematologie (Groen 2) werk je met zowel hoog complexe klinische zorg als dynamische dagbehandeling. Op de andere afdelingen ligt de nadruk volledig op de klinische zorg, met veel aandacht voor intensieve begeleiding en complexe zorgvragen. Wat maakt werken op de oncologie-afdeling bij HMC Antoniushove zo bijzonder? Op deze afdelingen kom je in aanraking met patiënten die ernstig ziek zijn, geopereerd zijn en herstellen of zich in de laatste fase van hun leven bevinden. De complexiteit van de zorg en de intensieve begeleiding geven je de kans om echt verdieping te vinden in je vak. Tegelijkertijd vraagt de dynamiek van de afdeling dat je blijft schakelen tussen klinische handelingen, emotionele begeleiding en nauwe samenwerking met artsen en collega's. Elk specialisme heeft zijn eigen dynamiek en uitdagingen: - Oncologische chirurgie - zorg rondom operaties en ingrepen. - Interne/Neuro/Long oncologie - begeleiding van patiënten in vaak langdurige en intensieve zorgtrajecten. - Hematologie - hoog complexe klinische zorg, inclusief stamceltransplantaties en antikankerbehandelingen. - Oncologis...
