The posting

ZAS, de drijvende kracht voor gezondheidszorg in beweging. Samen gaan we voor warme en innovatieve zorg.

Het operatiekwartier van ZAS Middelheim is een hoogtechnologische omgeving met een breed scala aan ingrepen met een hoge urgentiegraad (acute sectio’s, hartproblematieken,…). Als verpleegkundige vind je hier volop uitdagingen en leermogelijkheden. Recent hebben we 8 nieuwe digitale operatiezalen in gebruik genomen, waaronder een hybride operatiezaal. Tegen 2027 zal het gehele operatiekwartier vernieuwd zijn, met in totaal 12 nieuwe operatiezalen, waaronder een hybride operatiezaal.

We zijn op zoek naar nieuwe collega’s voor Cluster 1 en Cluster 2.

Cluster 1: Als verpleegkundige in Cluster 1 ben je verantwoordelijk voor de zorg binnen de afdelingen Plastische Heelkunde, Urologie, Algemene Heelkunde, ORL en Gynaecologie.

Cluster 2: In Cluster 2 zorg je voor patiënten die operaties ondergaan in de Orthopedie en Traumatologie, Vaat- en Thoracale Heelkunde, Cardiochirurgie en MKA (Mond-, Kaak- en Aangezichtschirurgie).

  • Je bent bereid om in een gevarieerd shiftensysteem te werken, zowel overdag, ‘s nachts en in weekends.

OVER DE JOB

  • Je plant en coördineert zelfstandig en in teamverband de pre- en postoperatieve zorg, met oog voor patiëntveiligheid en efficiëntie.
  • Je bewaakt continu de vitale functies en grijpt in bij acute of levensbedreigende situaties om optimale zorg te garanderen.
  • Je voert verpleegkundige handelingen uit die de arts toevertrouwt, conform de wettelijke bepalingen.
  • Je communiceert helder over ingrepen en het anesthesiologisch proces en draagt de zorg systematisch over binnen het team.
  • Je begeleidt nieuwe collega’s en studenten en draagt actief bij aan de kwaliteitsverbetering van de verpleegkundige zorg.
  • Je werkt nauw samen met het (adjunct-)afdelingshoofd en neemt indien nodig bijkomende verantwoordelijkheden op om de werking van de afdeling te ondersteunen.

OVER JOU

  • Je hebt een diploma en visum als Bachelor in de verpleegkunde of HBO5 (gegradueerde) verpleegkundige.
  • Ervaring in een operatiekwartier, dagziekenhuis of met pijntherapie is een pluspunt.
  • Je werkt nauwkeurig, hygiënisch en kostenbewust, en blijft kalm onder stressvolle omstandigheden.
  • Je bent betrokken, flexibel en neemt initiatief om de beste zorg te bieden aan elke patiënt.
  • Je communiceert duidelijk en respectvol met patiënten, collega’s en zorgverstrekkers en rapporteert correct, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk.
  • Je bent leergierig en volgt graag bijscholingen om je technische en verpleegkundige vaardigheden up-to-date te houden.
