Jouw rol en verantwoordelijkheden:

Op ons operatiekwartier kom je terecht in een hecht team waar samenwerken vanzelfsprekend is en waar je écht gezien wordt. Je bent omringd door collega’s en artsen die elkaar ondersteunen, bijspringen waar nodig en zorgen voor een warme sfeer – voor de patiënten, maar evengoed voor elkaar. Wij zijn niet alleen een zorginstelling, we zijn een organisatie waar mensen centraal staan.

  • Als verpleegkundige op ons operatiekwartier ben je een onmisbare schakel in een team dat nauw samenwerkt en voor elkaar klaarstaat.
  • Je dag start met een duidelijk overzicht van de geplande ingrepen, zodat jij samen met je collega’s alles tot in de puntjes kunt voorbereiden.
  • Je zorgt ervoor dat de operatiekamer tiptop in orde is, met al het nodige materiaal en instrumentarium klaar op de juiste plaats.
  • Jij bent ook één van de eerste gezichten die onze patiënten zien: je verwelkomt hen met zorg, aandacht en een luisterend oor in onze voorbereidingszone.
  • Tijdens de ingreep ondersteun je de arts en anesthesist, en na afloop help je mee om alles opnieuw netjes en georganiseerd achter te laten.
  • Je volgt de patiënt nadien goed op en houdt de arts op de hoogte, zodat de zorg vlot en veilig blijft verlopen.
  • Ook de familie krijgt jouw aandacht: met warme woorden en duidelijke uitleg stel je hen gerust.
  • Tot slot verzorg je de administratieve opvolging, waarbij je oog hebt voor detail en kwaliteit.
  • Je hebt een diploma bachelor Verpleegkunde (bachelor verpleegkunde, VVAZ of HBO5)
  • (Stage)Ervaring op een operatiekwartier is een pluspunt.
  • Je bent empathisch en verantwoordelijk. Je draagt zorg voor anderen en jezelf.
  • Je werkt graag in team.
  • Je werkt efficiënt en altijd met het welzijn van de patiënt voor ogen.
  • Om onze wachtdiensten goed in te vullen, woon je binnen een straal van 20 minuten van de campus.
