Radboud UMC · Nijmegen Over de vacature - 32 uur per week - parttime - Schaal 7M - CV + Motivatiebrief - 1 jaar met uitzicht op onbepaalde tijd - Bepaalde tijd - Geen assessment - geen meeloopdag - Salaris: €3.171-€4.492 per month - Solliciteer voor 7 oktober 2026 Jouw functie Als verpleegkundige Orthopedie werk je op een academische verpleegafdeling waar je zorg verleent aan patiënten met complexe en uitzonderlijke aandoeningen. Patiënten die vaak elders niet meer behandeld kunnen worden. De ziektebeelden zijn complex en lopen erg uiteen. Ook de tijd dat patiënten op de afdeling liggen verschilt: soms slechts een dag, en soms meerdere weken. De opnames binnen het team van Orthopedie zijn meestal gepland en je werkt altijd vanuit een protocol. Soms zijn er spoedopnames die jouw werk afwisselend maken. De zorg die je verleent is erg specialistisch en je werkt veel met verschillende disciplines samen. Naast het chirurgische gedeelte van deze afdeling verleen je ook veel psychosociale zorg. Communicatie met patiënten en de begeleiding in hun herstel is groot onderdeel van je werk. Door goede psychosociale begeleiding te bieden krijg je het vertrouwen van je patiënt en verleen je nóg betere zorg. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor jouw eigen patiënten. Naast de zorg aan het bed en de begeleiding van de patiënt en zijn/haar naasten, heb je een belangrijke coördinerende rol in de samenwerking tussen de specialismen binnen het thema Trauma, Reconstructie en Bewegen (TRB). Dat vraagt om een brede klinische blik en een hoge mate van flexibiliteit. We bieden je veel opleidingsmogelijkheden, waardoor je jezelf doorlopend blijft ontwikkelen. En omdat we binnen TRB altijd werken aan innovaties in de zorg vanuit wetenschappelijk onderzoek, blijf je vooroplopen in je vakgebied.
