The posting

De PAAZ (Psychiatrische Afdeling Algemeen Ziekenhuis) werkt volgens het biopsychosociaal model, waarbij de patiënt benaderd wordt vanuit biologisch, psychologisch en sociaal functioneren. Als verpleegkundige kijk je naar de patiënt als een geheel: een complex samenspel van factoren die elkaar voortdurend beïnvloeden.

Op onze afdeling bieden we zorg aan patiënten vanaf 18 jaar met onder andere:

- middelenverslaving; - angst- en stemmingsstoornissen; - psychotische stoornissen; - persoonlijkheidsstoornissen; - relationele problematieken.

De PAAZ is een open afdeling met 30 bedden en 30 plaatsen in dagopname. De gemiddelde opnameduur bedraagt ongeveer 15 dagen, wat zorgt voor een dynamische werkomgeving met afwisselende zorgvragen.

Als verpleegkundige maak je deel uit van een multidisciplinair team bestaande uit psychologen, psychiaters, sociaal werkers, therapeuten, zorgprofessionals, schoonmaakmedewerkers, vrijwilligers en een logistiek assistent. Je werkt met mensen in crisis en draagt actief bij aan de zorgverlening door in te zetten op observatie, structuur, het uitvoeren van een kortdurend behandelplan en het toepassen van aangepaste gesprekstechnieken. Daarbij combineer je nauwkeurig en verantwoordelijk werken in een ziekenhuisomgeving met een warme, patiëntgerichte benadering.

Ook het administratieve luik schrikt je niet af. Je staat in voor de registratie van patiëntgegevens en uitgevoerde handelingen, het verwerken van opname- en ontslagdocumenten en het mondeling en schriftelijk rapporteren aan het team.

Je staat mee in voor een correcte ontslagregeling en doorbriefing naar het dagcentrum (indien de patiënt naar daar gaat). Het team werkt in een open en respectvolle sfeer, met veel aandacht voor samenwerking, professionaliteit en persoonlijke zorg voor elke patiënt.

Als verpleegkundige lever je een belangrijke bijdrage aan het verkrijgen van een breed inzicht in de individuele gezondheidsproblemen van de patiënt en de impact ervan op verschillende levensdomeinen. Je bent mede verantwoordelijk voor de opvolging en continuïteit van het individuele zorgtraject.

Opmerking: Locatie en uurregeling kunnen wijzigen in functie van de dienstnoodwendigheden.

- Je beschikt over een bachelor- of graduaatsdiploma verpleegkunde, eventueel met een specialisatie in psychiatrische verpleegkunde. - Je hebt stage gelopen of werkervaring opgedaan binnen de psychiatrie en bent bereid om bijkomende opleidingen te volgen. - Je kan snel schakelen, blijft kalm in uitdagende situaties en werkt steeds patiëntgericht. - Daarnaast kan je vlot overweg met courante softwaretoepassingen en ben je administratief nauwkeurig.
