Op deze Parkinsonafdeling zijn jouw klinische blik, nauwkeurigheid en gevoel voor timing onmisbaar. Je helpt cliënten om zo lang mogelijk zelfstandig te blijven en de regie over hun leven te behouden.Over de functie De ziekte van Parkinson verloopt bij iedere cliënt anders. Klachten kunnen gedurende de dag veranderen en medicatie luistert nauw. Dat maakt jouw werk inhoudelijk uitdagend en iedere dienst anders. Als Verpleegkundige Parkinsonzorg bied je persoonlijke en verpleegtechnische zorg aan cliënten met complexe neurologische zorgvragen. Je observeert het ziekteverloop, bewaakt medicatieschema's en signaleert veranderingen in mobiliteit, gedrag en gezondheid. Door jouw klinische blik herken je kleine veranderingen vaak als eerste. Je beoordeelt wat er nodig is, onderneemt passende actie en stemt dit af met de betrokken behandelaren. Daarbij neem je de zorg niet automatisch over, maar stimuleer je cliënten om zoveel mogelijk zelf te blijven doen. Je werkt intensief samen met artsen, fysiotherapeuten, ergotherapeuten, logopedisten en andere zorgprofessionals. Ook begeleid je familieleden en naasten bij de veranderingen die de ziekte met zich meebrengt. Interesse?
