De afdeling Pediatrie en het dagziekenhuis Pediatrie bevinden zich op campus Sint-Jozef. Er wordt chronische zorg aangeboden (bijvoorbeeld diabetesconventie) maar ook acute pathologie komt aan bod. Je maakt deel uit van een team met ongeveer 30 medewerkers waarbij er een nauwe en fijne samenwerking is met pediaters en artsen van andere disciplines.

Het team kan omschreven worden als enthousiast en dynamisch. Als verpleegkundige draag je een grote verantwoordelijkheid maar je kan steeds op je collega’s rekenen gezien de vlotte samenwerking en het wederzijds vertrouwen naar elkaar. Kindvriendelijk zijn is het belangrijkste thema op de dienst waar het volledige team zich dagdagelijks voor inzet. Er is mogelijkheid om deel te nemen aan verschillende werkgroepen waarbij er samen nagedacht wordt met een open en kritische blik.

In AZ Turnhout bieden we je de mogelijkheden van een groot ziekenhuis, gecombineerd met het persoonlijk karakter van een klein ziekenhuis. Door onze grootte kunnen we inzetten op verschillende specialisaties en voortdurend investeren in nieuwe technologieën en innovaties. Zo bieden we onze medewerkers talloze leerkansen en doorgroeimogelijkheden. Maar wat ons echt onderscheidt is onze warme, gemoedelijke sfeer. We vinden het belangrijk dat niet enkel patiënten maar ook medewerkers zich Gast voelen in ons Huis.

In 2027 beginnen we te bouwen aan ons ‘Gasthuis in het groen’: een gloednieuw ziekenhuis op campus Sint-Jozef waar we alle diensten van de huidige twee campussen samenbrengen.

Functie

  • Je gaat als verpleegkundige aan de slag op Pediatrie en het dagziekenhuis pediatrie.
  • Als verpleegkundige sta je in voor de totale verpleegkundige zorgverlening en de administratieve opvolging hiervan.
  • Op een kindvriendelijke en doelgerichte manier ondersteun je samen met je collega’s de uitbouw van een kwaliteitsvolle zorg naar de pediatrische patiënten en hun familie.
  • Je behartigt de belangen van de kinderen binnen de organisatie en ondersteunt het principe van ouderparticipatie.
  • Je werkt 75%, 80%, 90% of voltijds (bespreekbaar).
  • Je werkt in shiften (vroege, late en nachtdiensten).
  • Je werkt één op twee weekends.

Profiel

  • Je beschikt over een bachelorsdiploma in de verpleegkunde of in de vroedkunde (bachelor vroedkunde enkel indien behaald voor 01/10/2018).
  • Je beschikt over het postgraduaat pediatrie of bent bereid dit te behalen.
  • Je hebt een empathische houding en weet hierdoor de noden van een kind alsook die van zijn omgeving vlot in kaart te brengen en hierop in te spelen.
  • Je bent verantwoordelijk en werkt efficiënt, georganiseerd en kwaliteitsvol.
  • Je staat open voor verandering en bent flexibel & stressbestendig.
  • Je bent leergierig en streeft naar voortdurende verbetering en zelfontwikkeling.
  • Je kan goed overweg met actuele informatica-technische toepassingen.
