The posting

Op de afdeling pneumologie-oncologie richten we ons op de zorgverlening van patiënten met acute-chronische longziekten en in het bijzonder patiënten met een thoracale oncologische diagnose. Het proces van staging tot behandeling en palliatieve zorgen/euthanasie is een niet te onderschatten gebeuren met een grote impact op het leven van de patiënt en zijn naasten. Door een holistische benadering binnen een multidisciplinair kader trachten we hieraan tegemoet te komen.

Het team staat voor kwaliteitsvolle gezondheidszorg binnen de context van authenticiteit waar openheid, eerlijkheid, respect en vertrouwen centraal staan. Naast de vereiste basiszorgen die we bieden, hechten we enorm veel belang aan het geven van persoonsgerichte zorg die patiënten en hun naasten kunnen beleven. We doen dit binnen een kader van menselijke waardigheid en de intermenselijke relaties.

Jouw takenpakket omvat oa.:

- Na een inwerkperiode op maat sta je in voor de totale zorg voor de jou toegewezen patiënten. - Je voert de verschillende verpleegtechnische handelingen (chemotoediening, zuurstoftoediening, ...) correct uit. - Je evalueert de toegediende zorg, neemt deel aan multidisciplinair overleg op de afdeling en draagt bij aan een vlotte communicatie en informatiedoorstroming naar alle betrokkenen. - Je kennis van de onderliggende pathologie, in combinatie met je sterke observatiezin en klinische blik zorgen ervoor dat je adequaat kan inspelen op de noden van de patiënt, uiteraard altijd in overleg met de artsen. - Na verloop van tijd kan je je specialiseren in een bepaald vakgebied of specialisatie van de gezondheidszorg, bv toediening chemotherapie, aanprikken via IPS, inhalatietherapie, zuurstoftoediening met oa nasale high flow. We delen onze kennis.

• Je bent bachelor in de verpleegkunde of graduaat verpleegkundige in een traject van brugopleiding of bereid dit traject op korte termijn op te starten • Je behaalde een bijzondere beroepstitel oncologie of bent bereid om deze te behalen in de komende jaren • Je beschikt over een gedoseerde empathische patiëntenbeleving • Je omschrijft jezelf als een echte teamplayer

• Je bent stressbestendig en klantgericht • Je hebt een goede zin voor organisatie
