The posting

Voor een project binnen de afdeling Pneumologie zijn we op zoek naar een verpleegkundige die tijdelijk wil ondersteunen binnen een gespecialiseerde ziekenhuisomgeving.

Je komt terecht op een afdeling waar je instaat voor de zorg en opvolging van patiënten met uiteenlopende respiratoire aandoeningen. Je combineert verpleegtechnische zorg met observatie, klinisch redeneren en een sterke patiëntgerichte aanpak.

De afdeling begeleidt zowel patiënten met acute als chronische longproblematieken, waardoor je werkt binnen een gevarieerde en inhoudelijk sterke context.

Jouw takenpakket omvat onder andere:

  • Verlenen van kwalitatieve en integrale verpleegkundige zorg aan pneumologische patiënten
  • Uitvoeren van verpleegtechnische handelingen en correct toedienen van medicatie
  • Observeren en opvolgen van respiratoire parameters en veranderingen in de gezondheidstoestand
  • Ondersteunen bij onderzoeken, behandelingen en therapeutische trajecten
  • Begeleiden en informeren van patiënten en hun familie tijdens de opname
  • Mee opvolgen van patiënten met acute en chronische respiratoire problematieken
  • Correct registreren en rapporteren in het patiëntendossier
  • Samenwerken binnen een multidisciplinair team van artsen, collega-verpleegkundigen en andere disciplines
  • Actief bijdragen aan veilige, kwaliteitsvolle en patiëntgerichte zorg

Je werkt mee binnen een afdeling die in de maand juni verhuist van campus Merestraat naar campus Moorselbaan en krijgt zo de kans om mee deel uit te maken van een afdeling in beweging.

Je werkt in een vroeg-/laatstelsel met 1 op 2 weekends.

Dit betreft een project van 3 maanden met minstens één verlenging voorzien.

Voor dit project zoeken we een verpleegkundige die zich goed voelt in een gespecialiseerde ziekenhuisomgeving en graag werkt binnen een afdeling waar observatie, opvolging en patiëntgerichte zorg centraal staan.

Wat verwachten we van jou?

  • Je beschikt over een diploma verpleegkunde (HBO5 of bachelor) en een geldig visum
  • Je hebt ervaring binnen een ziekenhuissetting
  • Ervaring met of kennis van pneumologie en respiratoire pathologieën is een sterke meerwaarde
  • Kennis van KWS is een pluspunt
  • Je hebt een sterke observatiezin en klinische blik en kan veranderingen in de gezondheidstoestand tijdig detecteren en correct inschatten
  • Je werkt nauwkeurig en kan prioriteiten stellen binnen een dynamische afdeling
  • Je combineert zelfstandigheid met een vlotte samenwerking binnen een multidisciplinair team
  • Je communiceert professioneel en gaat patiëntgericht te werk
  • Je hebt aandacht voor zowel de medische als psychosociale begeleiding van patiënten
  • Je bent flexibel en bereid te werken in een vroeg-/laatstelsel met 1 op 2 weekends
  • Je voelt je comfortabel binnen een omgeving die in beweging is en kan je vlot aanpassen aan een nieuwe werking en context

Ervaring binnen pneumologie is mooi meegenomen, maar motivatie, leergierigheid en een sterke verpleegkundige basis vinden we minstens even belangrijk.
