Als verpleegkundige op Pneumologie/Oncologie (D06) sta je dicht bij patiënten die een intensieve en vaak emotionele zorgperiode doormaken. Je combineert deskundige verpleegkundige zorg met duidelijke uitleg, geruststelling en warme begeleiding tijdens onderzoeken en behandelingen. Samen met een multidisciplinair team bied je actief symptoomverlichting, educatie en ondersteuning, zodat patiënten en hun familie zich gedragen en goed geïnformeerd voelen. In deze rol groei je elke dag in expertise én in betekenisvol contact.

WAT?

  • Contract onbepaalde duur
  • ZAS Augustinus (2610, Wilrijk)
  • 38 uur/week (100%), overig regime is bespreekbaar.
  • Je bent bereid om in een gevarieerd shiftensysteem te werken, zowel overdag als ‘s nachts en in weekends.

OVER DE JOB

  • Patiëntenzorg — Je biedt dagelijkse verpleegkundige zorg, monitort vitale functies en rapporteert veranderingen aan de arts.
  • Begeleiding bij behandelingen — Je ondersteunt bij onderzoeken en behandelingen zoals chemotherapie, bestraling en ingrepen, en biedt duidelijke uitleg en emotionele steun.
  • Symptoommanagement — Je helpt patiënten bij klachten zoals ademhalingsproblemen, pijn, misselijkheid en vermoeidheid via medicatie en gerichte interventies.
  • Educatie & voorlichting — Je informeert patiënten en hun familie over ziekte, behandeling en leefstijl die bijdraagt aan betere longgezondheid.
  • Multidisciplinair samenwerken — Je werkt nauw samen met longartsen, oncologen, kinesitherapeuten, maatschappelijk werkers en andere specialisten.
  • Brede ondersteuning — Je draagt bij aan administratieve, technische en huishoudelijke taken en ondersteunt het afdelingshoofd wanneer nodig.

OVER JOU

  • Verpleegkundig diploma — Je beschikt over een bachelor- of HBO5‑diploma verpleegkunde en een geldig visum.
  • Bereid tot specialisatie — Je bent bereid de banaba oncologie te volgen; als HBO5‑verpleegkundige volg je eerst de brugopleiding.
  • Ervaring of leergierigheid — Ervaring is een plus, maar geen must; je krijgt een grondige interne opleiding.
  • Interesse in pneumo‑oncologie — Je hebt affiniteit met de zorg voor patiënten met longziekten en oncologische aandoeningen.
  • Zelfstandig & deskundig — Je kan zorgbehoeften inschatten, zorg plannen, coördineren en evalueren op vlak van mobiliteit, voeding, hygiëne en psychosociale ondersteuning.
  • Nauwkeurig & stressbestendig — Je werkt ordelijk, veilig en hygiënisch en blijft efficiënt functioneren in uitdagende situaties.
