Werkplek

Op de Polikliniek Oncologie-Hematologie, gelegen op campus Sint-Elisabeth, staat een multidisciplinair team van 16 artsen en 11 medewerkers dagelijks klaar om patiënten de best mogelijke oncologische zorg te bieden. Dankzij regelmatig overleg, consultaties en ambulante onderzoeken werkt het team telkens een behandeling op maat uit, afgestemd op de noden en wensen van de patiënt.

In AZ Turnhout bieden we je de mogelijkheden van een grote organisatie, gecombineerd met het persoonlijk karakter van een kleiner ziekenhuis. Door onze grootte kunnen we inzetten op verschillende specialisaties en voortdurend investeren in nieuwe technologieën en innovaties. Zo bieden we onze medewerkers talloze leerkansen en doorgroeimogelijkheden. Maar wat ons echt onderscheidt is onze warme, gemoedelijke sfeer. We vinden het belangrijk dat niet enkel patiënten maar ook medewerkers zich Gast voelen in ons Huis.

De komende jaren bouwen we aan ons ‘Gasthuis in het groen’: een gloednieuw ziekenhuis op campus Sint-Jozef waar we alle diensten van de huidige twee campussen samenbrengen.

Functie

  • Je staat, samen met het multidisciplinair team, in voor de totale verpleegkundige zorg en de administratieve opvolging hiervan.
  • Je voert onder andere bloednames uit, spoelt poortkatheters en dient subcutane en intramusculaire medicatie toe.
  • Je plant stagingsonderzoeken en begeleidt bij beenmergpuncties.
  • Je combineert verpleegkundige zorg met aandacht voor het psychosociaal welzijn van de patiënt en zijn omgeving.
  • Je werkt aan 50% arbeidsbreuk.
  • Je werkt in daguren (tussen 8u30 en 17u00).
  • Er is geen weekendwerk.

Profiel

  • Je beschikt over een HBO5- of een bachelorsdiploma in de verpleegkunde of een bachelor in de vroedkunde (bachelor vroedkunde enkel indien behaald voor 01/10/2018)
  • Ervaring met oncologie en/of een bijzondere beroepstitel oncologie is een meerwaarde, maar geen vereiste.
  • Je bent patiëntgericht, discreet en vriendelijk.
  • Je bent stressbestendig en kan acute situaties ondervangen.
  • Je toont een betrokken, positieve en initiatief nemende werkhouding. Je staat open voor verandering en vernieuwing, en blijft je bijscholen in het werkdomein.
  • Je kan goed overweg met recente informatica-technische toepassingen.
  • Je kan je helemaal vinden in onze BIOS-waarden, die je terugvindt op onze website.

  • Een contract bepaalde duur van 6 maanden, met eventuele kans op verlenging.
