Bij KARUS werken we samen aan een warme, professionele en toonaangevende geestelijke gezondheidszorg. Vanuit onze missie – passende zorg op weg naar herstel voor mensen met psychische moeilijkheden en hun omgeving – maken we samen het verschil. Met een breed aanbod in de Gentse regio beschikt KARUS over 643 bedden en plaatsen. In ons ziekenhuis bieden we (hoog)gespecialiseerde behandelingen via een multidisciplinaire aanpak, zowel residentieel als mobiel. Daarnaast voorzien we ook een ondersteunend aanbod op het vlak van wonen en welzijn. Zo’n 850 medewerkers, artsen en vrijwilligers zetten zich dagelijks in, gedreven door onze waarden samen, open en zorgzaam. Om het team van PVT De Wadi, die een wooncontext biedt aan mensen met een complexe, langdurige psychiatrische problematiek te versterken, zoeken wij een enthousiaste verpleegkundige!

Als verpleegkundig:

  • Sta je in voor de begeleiding van zorggebruikers met diverse psychiatrische problematieken
  • Begeleid je zorggebruikers individueel of in groep
  • Voorzie je mee de continuïteit van zorg in een variabel uurrooster (dag-, laat- en weekenddiensten)
  • Begeleid en ondersteun je zorggebruikers bij hun dagelijkse bezigheden of taken op een respectvolle en toegankelijke manier
  • Registreer je correct in het elektronisch patiëntendossier en verzorg je andere administratieve taken.

We zoeken een collega die:

  • Beschikt over een diploma bachelor of HBO5 in de verpleegkunde
  • Kennis en ervaring heeft van/met diversie psychiatrische problematieken
  • Affiniteit heeft met de doelgroep
  • Die vaardigheden heeft in het aangaan van een begeleidingsrelatie
  • Initiatief durft nemen en dingen durft uitproberen (je krijgt hier volop ruimte voor)
  • Kracht­gericht werkt en crisissituaties kan hanteren
  • Present is en echt in contact
  • Die het persoonlijk, sociaal en maatschappelijk herstel van de zorggebruikers en zijn/haar omgeving stimuleert en opvolgt
  • Die zelfstandig kan werken in een multidisciplinair team
  • Houdt van directe communicatie en sociaal vaardig is
  • Nieuwsgierig is en betreden paden durft te verlaten
  • Aandacht heeft voor beperkingen doch ook mogelijkheden ziet
  • Flexibel is ingesteld en van uitdagingen houdt
  • Zich thuis voelt in een waardenge­richte organisatie.
