Wil jij meebouwen aan ons Stroke-team? Ben jij sterk in acute situaties en kun je vlot prioriteiten stellen? Als Stroke-verpleegkundige bied je totale zorg, bewaak je vitale en neurologische parameters en werk je mee aan de snelle stabilisatie van patiënten met acute neurologische en neurochirurgische problemen.

Jouw kracht? Klinisch redeneren, anticiperen en helder communiceren met collega’s en artsen. De patiënt staat bij jou altijd op één. Je werkt graag in teamverband, denkt mee over verbeteringen en durft over de grenzen van je eigen discipline heen te kijken. Creativiteit en flexibiliteit zet je in om elke patiënt de best mogelijke zorg te geven.

Wat maakt ons bijzonder? Sterke collegialiteit, echte teamspirit en een afdeling die zo is ingericht om het verblijf en herstel van de patiënten zo optimaal mogelijk te maken maar ook om jou als verpleegkundige in staat te stellen je werk zo goed en prettig mogelijk te kunnen doen.

In AZ Turnhout bieden we je de mogelijkheden van een groot ziekenhuis, gecombineerd met het persoonlijk karakter van een klein ziekenhuis. Door onze grootte kunnen we inzetten op verschillende specialisaties en voortdurend investeren in nieuwe technologieën en innovaties. Zo bieden we onze medewerkers talloze leerkansen en doorgroeimogelijkheden. Maar wat ons echt onderscheidt is onze warme, gemoedelijke sfeer. We vinden het belangrijk dat niet enkel patiënten maar ook medewerkers zich Gast voelen in ons Huis.

In 2027 beginnen we te bouwen aan ons ‘Gasthuis in het groen’: een gloednieuw ziekenhuis op campus Sint-Jozef waar we alle diensten van de huidige twee campussen samenbrengen.

Functie

  • Je gaat aan de slag op de Stroke unit (heden 9 bedden – uitbreiding naar 12 bedden) op campus Sint-Elisabeth.
  • Je zorgt er samen met je collega’s voor dat patiënten de beste zorg krijgen in een patiëntgericht ziekenhuis.
  • Je staat samen met een multidisciplinair team in voor de totale verpleegkundige zorg en de administratieve opvolging hiervan.
  • Je werkt 75%, 80%, 90% of voltijds (bespreekbaar).
  • Je werkt in vroege, late en nachtdiensten.
  • Je werkt één weekend op twee.

Profiel

  • Je bezit het diploma VVAZ/bachelor in de verpleegkunde.
  • Relevante ervaring met neurologische patiënten is een pluspunt.
  • Je hebt bij voorkeur ervaring of een sterke interesse voor stroke zorg/ medium care.
  • Bereid zijn een specifieke opleiding in neurologische zorg, beroertezorg of neurochirurgische zorg te volgen is een voorwaarde.
  • Een postgraduaat acute zorgen (spoed/ iz) komt ook in aanmerking voor expertise.
  • Je kan zowel zelfstandig als in een (multidisciplinair) team werken.
  • Je bent patiëntgericht, discreet en vriendelijk.
  • Je bent stressbestendig en werkt efficiënt en kwaliteitsvol.
  • Je hebt zin voor verantwoordelijkheid en initiatief.
  • Je streeft naar voortdurende verbetering en staat open voor verandering.
  • Je kan goed overweg met recente informatica-technische toepassingen.
