Wat gebeurt er achter de schermen bij een faillissement? En welk verhaal schuilt er achter een drukbezochte beleggersbijeenkomst? Als Algemeen Verslaggever Economie volg je de financiële actualiteit in de volle breedte. Je brengt de menselijke én zakelijke kant van het nieuws samen in verhalen die ertoe doen. Dat doe je bij De Telegraaf, een van de grootste nieuwsmerken van Nederland dat dagelijks miljoenen mensen bereikt. Als Algemeen Verslaggever Economie zit je dicht op het nieuws. Je trekt het land in voor reportages, spreekt beleggers, toezichthouders, advocaten en accountants en bouwt zelfstandig een relevant netwerk op. Het ene moment schrijf je over een spraakmakend faillissement of een miljoenenboete. Het volgende moment duik je in beleggingsfraude, een cryptoscam of een ontwikkeling die gevolgen heeft voor de portemonnee van onze lezers. Je bent breed inzetbaar en kijkt verder dan één vaste portefeuille. Je gaat zelfstandig nieuws, achtergronden en interviews schrijven. Sommige verhalen moeten meteen worden gemaakt, voor andere verhalen neem je de tijd. Je bent veel op pad omdat het nieuws op straat ligt. Op andere dagen werk je meestal op de redactie en soms vanuit huis. Dit wordt je plek. Je komt terecht op de redactie van De Financiële Telegraaf, onderdeel van De Telegraaf. Hier werken ongeveer twintig ervaren journalisten met ieder een eigen portefeuille. Samen volgen jullie dagelijks de Nederlandse en internationale financiële wereld. De sfeer is professioneel en collegiaal. We denken met elkaar mee, helpen elkaar verder en vieren onze journalistieke successen samen.
