The posting

Je werkt als verzorgende bij mensen met een matig tot ernstig verstandelijke beperking. Het team en de bewoners van Heirweg 190 - 205 - 215 zullen je met open armen ontvangen in hun woningen. Het gaat om een vervangingscontract tot eind augustus 2027, met kans op verlenging.

Onze cliënten worden ondersteund door woonbegeleiders en verzorgenden. Warme zorg en het creëren van een huiselijke sfeer staan voorop. Als verzorgende ondersteun je de bewoners bij dagdagelijkse zaken en ben je betrokken bij het activiteitenaanbod.

Heel concreet gaat het om volgende taken:

  • ondersteuning bij het begeleiden van activiteiten bv. wandelen, uitstap, …
  • verzorging van de cliënten: ondersteuning bij het wassen, aankleden, ...
  • begeleiding van cliënten naar doktersbezoeken, naar de kiné, naar activiteiten
  • helpen bij het opscheppen en/of toedienen van maaltijden, bij het opruimen van de keuken en zorgt voor een goeie sfeer tijdens de maaltijdmomenten.
  • helpen waar nodig bij het huishoudelijk werk in de woning
  • Je hebt minimaal een diploma secundair onderwijs binnen een verzorgende richting.
  • Je bent flexibel, beschikt over een goed inlevingsvermogen en bent positief ingesteld.
  • Je bent van nature een optimist die mogelijkheden in plaats van beperkingen ziet.
  • Je werkt zorgvuldig en correct.
  • Je werkt graag samen met collega’s en je kan ook zelfstandig werken.
  • Je werkt 1 op 2 weekends (halve dagen, voor- of namiddagdienst respectievelijk 8-13u en 14-19u).
  • Verzorgende en huishoudelijke taken liggen jou goed.
