Als Verzorgende IG op de Screening en Delier afdeling van Amsta in Amsterdam West bied je houvast aan cliënten en bouw je tegelijk mee aan een team dat elke dag beter wil worden. Jouw rol als Amstadammer Als Verzorgende IG werk je op de Screening en Delier afdeling van De Poort. Hier verblijven ouderen die tijdelijk extra ondersteuning nodig hebben in hun denken en gedrag. Je werkt met cliënten die ongeveer drie maanden bij ons zijn. Samen met je team zorg je voor ongeveer dertig cliënten tegelijk. Dat vraagt om overzicht, schakelen en goed samenwerken. Je helpt cliënten weer grip te krijgen op hun dag. Soms begint dat klein: samen opstaan, structuur aanbrengen, rust creëren. Je merkt snel wat iemand nodig heeft en past je aanpak daarop aan. Tegelijk draag je bij aan een afdeling die nog volop in ontwikkeling is. Afspraken worden scherper, de manier van werken wordt duidelijker. Daar speel jij een actieve rol in. Zo ziet jouw werk eruit: - Dagelijkse zorg bieden en tegelijk zorgen voor rust en ritme op de afdeling. - Medicatie geven en verpleegtechnische handelingen uitvoeren wanneer dat nodig is. - Veranderingen opmerken in gedrag en dit direct bespreken met je collega's. - In contact blijven met cliënten, ook als iemand onrustig of verward is. - Meedenken over hoe het werk beter, duidelijker en slimmer kan in het team. Hier gebeurt het Je werkt op locatie De Poort , in hartje Amsterdam aan de Hugo de Grootkade.
