Bij Phila Heeswijk in Voorburg combineer je ouderenzorg met gehandicaptenzorg. Je verzorgt en begeleidt ouder wordende mensen met een verstandelijke beperking en kijkt daarbij verder dan alleen de medische zorgvraag. Voor Phila Heeswijk in Voorburg zoeken we een Verzorgende IG voor 24 tot 36 uur per week . Jouw rol Als Verzorgende IG werk je binnen Philadelphia in de functie van Begeleider Gehandicaptenzorg . Jouw kennis van verzorging is belangrijk, maar hier draait je werk om méér dan zorg alleen. Je leert bewoners echt kennen. Je weet hoe iemand zijn koffie drinkt, merkt wanneer iemand stiller is dan normaal en herkent kleine veranderingen die iets kunnen zeggen over iemands gezondheid of welzijn. De bewoners worden ouder en hun zorgvraag verandert mee. Sommige bewoners zijn nog behoorlijk zelfstandig, terwijl anderen steeds meer ondersteuning nodig hebben door bijvoorbeeld dementie, epilepsie, diabetes of lichamelijke achteruitgang. Je werkt afwisselend ochtend-, dag-, avond-, weekend- en slaapdiensten. Je: - ondersteunt bewoners bij ADL, persoonlijke verzorging en mobiliteit; - dient medicatie toe en signaleert veranderingen in gezondheid, gedrag en welzijn; - begeleidt bewoners in hun dagelijks leven en biedt structuur, rust en veiligheid; - herkent signalen die samenhangen met onder andere dementie, epilepsie en diabetes en handelt hier passend op; - stimuleert bewoners om zoveel mogelijk zelf te blijven doen; - draagt bij aan welzijn, activiteiten, uitstapjes en kleine momenten die een dag bijzonder maken; - rapporteert in ONS Nedap en werkt volgens de ondersteunings- en behandelplannen.
