Daarom wil je als verzorgende IG bij QuaRijn werken Je komt in contact met cliënten tijdens een ingrijpende periode van hun leven waarin zij herstellen van een operatie, ziekte of ongeluk. Jij helpt cliënten hun zelfvertrouwen terug te winnen. Want revalidatie gaat de hele dag door: van aankleden tot therapiesessies. Daarom werk je in een multidisciplinair team samen waar ieders bijdrage telt. Dit ga je doen als verzorgende IG Samen met collega's en behandelaren ondersteun en stimuleer je cliënten bij hun dagelijkse zorg én het herstelproces volgens het principe; alles is revalidatie. Je helpt bij het wassen, eten, medicatie of wondzorg en denkt mee over wat iemand nodig heeft om weer naar huis te kunnen. Je werkt op een vaste afdeling, maar soms draai je een dienst mee op een andere afdeling. Want we doen het tenslotte samen. Hier ga je werken Op de geriatrische revalidatie in het Zonnehuis verblijven 60 cliënten met uiteenlopende diagnoses: van orthopedisch tot cardiologisch en neurologisch. De sfeer is warm met een duidelijke focus op het doel. Dagelijks vinden er meerdere opnames plaats, soms ook in de avond en het weekend. Je houdt daarom van onverwachte gebeurtenissen en werkt oplossingsgericht. En omdat je werkt met oudere cliënten die herstellen, speelt er emotioneel en fysiek veel tegelijk.
