In deze functie bied je persoonlijke zorg in de vertrouwde omgeving van de cliënt en help je mensen om zo lang mogelijk zelfstandig en gezond thuis te blijven wonen. Als Verzorgende IG in de thuiszorg bezoek je cliënten in hun eigen woonomgeving. Je biedt passende zorg, voert verpleegtechnische handelingen uit en geeft waar nodig voorlichting over bijvoorbeeld medicatiegebruik. Een belangrijk onderdeel van jouw werk als Verzorgende IG is het stimuleren van de eigen regie. Je kijkt naar wat iemand zelf nog kan en welke ondersteuning écht nodig is. Daarbij maak je waar mogelijk gebruik van digitale hulpmiddelen en slimme zorgtechnologie. Zo draag je als Verzorgende IG bij aan toekomstgerichte thuiszorg waarin zelfstandigheid en kwaliteit van leven centraal staan.
